6inforever Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Figured I would add to this post , I just got back from a fund raiser. Sorry the angle is not the greatest but this is what I wore to the party.
jwhite44 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 The angle may not be the greatest but the shoes certainly are? What height are they (don't want to assume your "6inforever" handle means that's what you always wear)? How were they to be in for the evening?
6inforever Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 While at work I am usually in 6 in but tonight I wore about 5.5 cause I had to do alot of walking. I am so used to it that its like wearing sneakers.

danielp6406 Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I wore my new suede boots going to work today (under jeans) The receptionist was the first to see them and said to me "Those are new boots ? Come closer, I want to see them". She then said "I want to see them completely" (I pulled up my jeans) She replied "They are really nice but the heel is too high for me" Such a nice compliment from a women ! danielp6406 Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Today I was wearing my OTK boots at work. (Sorry: no heels here !) It was the first time I wore these OTK boots fully exposed. I was nervous at first but OK after a few minutes. Then it was a lot of fun The receptionist said "These are the kind of boots I would wear..." (remember she cannot wear very high heels) But I missed wearing heels today. Tomorrow I will wear something higher
Thighboots2 Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Daniel, As a fashion statement, the look is great. Tall boots for guys are few and far between, but are around. Yours being OTK are also edgy and have that "pirate" quality. Sure you miss a heel, but somehow I think that is almost irrelevant. Good job. Simon. Are you confusing me with someone who gives a damn?
CPB Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Today, just as with almost every other day I'm wearing my gorgeous Rebel Adventurer safety boots:w00t2:. A construction site isn't the best place to wear high heels. At home it depends what grabs me.
HappyinHeels Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 As I relax in the evening reading and posting here at the computer I have on a pair of Karo's black leather platform sandals with an ankle wrap strap and 6" stiletto heels under some boot-cut stretchy jeans--turquoise nail polish--have to liven up our misty crummy weather today.
johnieheel Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Wore my 4"stack heel knee high tommy hill boots. Wife wore her new black suede ankle boots. We started out at Joanne fabrics, then sams club. Got a few looks but no reaction. Shopped for about an hour there, got to the check out and discovered I left my wallet in the car so I walked back out to get it while my wife waited for me. Noticed one man waiting for his wife to finish checking out and then watched me as I walked past but showed no interest at all. Then went to walmart to get a few t shirts for embroidery and ran into a lady from work. I don't think she believed I really wore heels when she heard about it at work, but she does now! LOL! Stopped at sears to check on some pants on sale and walked all over. Same, no reaction from no body. Wife found a pair of pants and I waited with another couple while she tried them on. I'm telling you guy's, no one cares. I didn't try to hide the heels or the loud noise they made. In fact, my wife and I at one point, was competing on who could make the loudest noise with our heels. Still people looked and just looked away. A very fun but uneventful day in heels. real men wear heels
