barney15c Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Have to say i was a fan of their Kosmic pumps, they have a new model out called Hydrogen only available in Black Matt at the moment, they are a hidden platform pump, look very nice, Got my contact in the US to pick me up a pair (available upto US13). http://www.payless.com/store/product/detail.jsp?catId=&subCatId=&skuId=132957080&productId=73309&lotId=132957&category=&catdisplayName=Women. What does everybody think?? In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king!!!
Steve63130 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Don't get them near these or there could be an explosion! http://www.oxygenshoes.co.uk/ Steve
jetheelsfan Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Don't get them near these or there could be an explosion! http://www.oxygenshoes.co.uk/ Steve or could turn to water Nice - but when I tried the link - page not available at the Payless website. They look nice - but I do not really "understand" the purpose of "hidden platform" - it makes a delicate shoe look somewhat like a brick. But that is just the way I see that feature on a high heeled shoe. Keep us informed as do they feel as comfortable as the Kosmic - I really like the fit of them. Just a bit higher to to delight - low enough for healthy foot comfort and great beginning.
AZShoeNut Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 I absolutely love the brash line. The have the Lumos Dorsey pump out now. I love that on this shoe they do not "lose the style" in my size 12. These shoes look just as high and sleek on size 12 as they do on size 8. If I weren't so broke that I cannont afford shoes from Payless then I would buy them in black and nude! Best, Larry Life is short... Wear the bleeping shoes!
inquisitor Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Didn't I hear somewhere that the Brash Line was produced by Steve Madden? Those are on fire. I'll check those out in person next time I'm at Payless that has them. The two nearest me don't. I like the ones with small hidden platforms--huge hidden platforms do look rather like a brick! Totally my bias. Peeptoe heels are my passion... and flexibility: www.Flexines.net
Chorlini Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Not my thing. But then again I really dislike platforms. From the front they make the foot look like its walking on a brick and from the back it's cheating. You think 'hey, that person really knows how to walk in their heels and....., never mind, platforms again'. I really miss the days when all heels were without platforms, or just relics from the 70's.
AZShoeNut Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Huh? Sorry, Cell phone typing issues. In my post about Brash Limos Dorsey pumps I meant to say that I love them not have them. Life is short... Wear the bleeping shoes!
HappyinHeels Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 inquisitor, Yes! I know I had mentioned before that a Payless store manager had told me that Brash is known as "Steve Madden for Payless". So I consider the information to be reliable from a confirmed source. Payless is always worth a look now and then as some times one can get surprisngly nice styles for vey low prices. HappyinHeels

I've noticed that every season Payless knocks off at least one high-end style, and they usually do a good job of it too. Looks like they did it here.
