5.5InchHeels
Hi All. I came to USA this week for business purposes and I have already purchased some very nice heels, as you can see below: http://www.amazon.co...e west underdog http://www.amazon.co...n klein mareesa http://www.amazon.co...asma gogo boots Now, in the end of the week I am going back home and I am thninking in which one is the most suitable to travel back home, passing through the airport bureaucracy. Do you have an advice? I don´t mind what people will think, in the matter of fact, but for a 18 hours flight with stopover, I need to think very well on this. Regards. 5.5InchHeels
ilikekicks
First pair, the wedge booties. Easy to remove if Airport Security starts being douchebags. REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
docs41
I opt for the wedge boots too. If the shoe fits-buy it!!!!!!
Bubba136
Same here. I would wear the wedge heel booties also because walking a long way between gates would be comfortable. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Shafted
Wear whatever you are comfortable with. Don't wear anything too snug fitting. Your feet will swell on the flight. Shafted, the boots that is! Steve63130
I agree with Shafted, cuz he's right. If the wedges are not too tight, they'd be my recommendation. Have a great flight! Make sure you read this thread: Steve
5.5InchHeels
Thanks for the recommendations. I agre that the best ones are the wedge boots.
bluejay
Go with the wedge boots. It will be the easiest through the airport. BTW, I have several pairs of those Funtassima Go-Go Style patent knee boots. I have them in red, royal blue, purple, hot pink and black. I like them a lot and they are fun to wear under jeans or over leggings. Hope you enjoy wearing the white boots. Happy Heeling, bluejay

yozz
Hi would say: "take the ones that your feet are most comfortable with". Just imagine that after three hours your feet start hurting and still so many hours to go..... Taking off boots at security is not as big a hassle as you might think unless they are riding boots and have no zipper. The security people have seen more. Just don't give them any other reasons to pick on you. Nowadays I always wear boots when travelling, because they would add most weight to my luggage. Never had any problem. Of course the heels are not very high, because having to walk a lot in airports and so on, makes me prefer the comfort and in anything over 3 inches I am not very comfortable for a whole day. A few hours, fine... 3 inches I can handle the whole day. Y. Raise your voice. Put on some heels.
chris100575
The Calvin Klein knee boots are my favourite, but I think the ankle boots will be better to travel in, mainly because they'll be easiest to get off if you need to for security, or just to get comfortable on the plane. Bundy999
I'll vote for the ankle boots.
5.5InchHeels
The Funtasma Go Go Boots are 3 inch, so they are also a good picking. I thinks it is feasible also to go with them.
Shafted
I'd love to see someone go through airport security wearing lace up thigh high boots. Shafted, the boots that is! Rockpup
Shafted: I've only once tried on one lace up eyelet only thigh boot. Took 40 minutes to put one boot on. Might be a reason to opt for pat down private screening instead of taking them off. (formerly known as "JimC")
5.5InchHeels
Next time, we can try this thigh high boots with laces. Testing the 3 inch boots. Very confortable. See some phots below:
SleekHeels
I agree the ankle boots might be the more practical option, but the Calvin Klein boots look comfortable too and would look very stylish with skinny jeans and a smart top, very "departure lounge chic". At first I thought they were pull-on boots but I just noticed the zip at the back, which would hardly add any delay going through security (come to think of it, maybe the wedge heels are more likely to be scanned?). It's years since I've flown but if I was flying I'd jump at the chance to wear my heels. If you like it, wear it.
Thighbootguy
I'd love to see someone go through airport security wearing lace up thigh high boots. I haven't worn lace up thigh boots but look at my very first post in Thigh Boots in Public. This was before everyone had to remove their shoes. Back on topic-- I would travel in the Calvin Klein boots. TBG I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned. 5.5InchHeels
Thanks. I will go with the wedge ankle boots. Well, I have tested the Nine West Wedge Boots this night. I walked around 0.5 mile without any problems as swelling or hurting, even bein a 4" wedge heel. So, definitely, tomorrow, I will travel on wedge ankle boots. I have attached some photos of them with the tomorrow pants. http://www.hhplace.org/gallery/image/3046-wedge-boots-01/ http://www.hhplace.org/gallery/image/3047-wedge-boots-02/ Regards.
