DAMN MY BIG FEET wild for plats
maninpumps Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Thanks for the pics. Wish I had a pair of them as well.
roniheels Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 High heeled sneakers has been discussed before, buy it is always nice to see pictures of them presented by our members. Those are some of the highest heels on sneakers I've ever seen.
karen Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 My girlfriend has a pair that I tried on, not particularly those kind of styles, but very similar. I have to tell you that they feel ultra comfortable. You can run in those things as easily as if you were running in regular sneakers. But with added sexiness to it. Remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but she did it backwards and in high heels. -- Faith Whittlesey
thehighheelsgirl Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 I used to have a pair of the stiletto sneakers years ago before I got into wearing really high heels, and I remember they were like wearing sneakers.. soooo comfortable!!! Yes, I do walk in these
bostonjensen Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Looks like they have a similar style at Victoria Secrets: http://www2.victoriassecret.com/commerce/onlineProductDisplay.vs?namespace=productDisplay&origin=onlineProductDisplay.jsp&event=display&prnbr=GP-260453&cgname=OSKEYSHUZZZ&rfnbr=1963 Wish they came in Size 12 though
Dawn HH Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Sorry, just not my bag on any of them. If you like them fine, be my guest and own a pair. There are much prettier pairs of shoes available to spend my shoe funds on. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
Cinnamon Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Hmm... as ugly as I find regular trainers, and these glorified plimsolls could be tarted up in a vintage tennis girl kinda way (allegedly very SS10 which is probably why these have surfaced in the first place)... I think I'll pass. Trainers for me are a practical choice rather than a style choice and I don't think these babies would be doing the knees any favours whilst going for a run. All in all, I'll stick to sitting on my ass with a pair of 5" stilettos on my tootsies thankyouverymuch I think people with a more casual style to me could pull them off though.
canadianbeaver17 Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 You know, before I wasn't a fan, but they just look so comfy and fun to wear.
Trolldeg Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 High heels and sneakers are two styles that should never be mixed.
pussyinboots Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 ^^ I think that this is a fashion trend that is growing in momentum this year. EBay are publicising them on their Homepage as 'latest fashion': http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=260594605876&Category=63889&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D1 You can also buy them with stiletto heels.....'Paprika' and 'Anne Michelle' have been making them for a while. Here's some you can get right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ROCAWEAR-PINK-PEEP-TOE-ATHLETIC-HIGH-HEEL-BOOTS-US-7-/220615072077?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&hash=item335daed94d http://cgi.ebay.com/Womens-Fushia-pink-white-slide-sneakers-Size-7-shoes-/190284171082?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&hash=item2c4dd2074a http://cgi.ebay.com/CARRINI-Heels-Sneekers-Tennis-Shoes-Lace-Up-Ankle-Pumps-/270591197721?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&vti=US+Size%097%0AMain+Color%09Pink&hash=item84b6f7dbb5 http://cgi.ebay.com/MANGO-Jean-Fabric-Lace-Up-Womens-Shoes-Heels-Blue-SPM-/280499470729?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&vti=US+Size%098&hash=item870aeb332d http://cgi.ebay.com/womens-shoes-sneakers-platform-pumps-MANG102-/230453576112?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&vti=US+Size%097%0AMain+Color%09Pink&hash=item7b66aa86a3 http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-WHITE-GREEN-CANVAS-HIGH-HEEL-SNEAKER-PUMP-SIZE-8-/200476981319?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&hash=item2ead5bf847 http://cgi.ebay.com/Sexy-Lace-Up-Wedge-Heel-Platform-Pumps-Shoes-US-5-8-5-/170494424452?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&vti=US+Size%098%0AMain+Color%09Blue&hash=item6d6e65a982 You can also get boots! http://cgi.ebay.com/CHUCK-SNEAKER-LACE-UP-MID-CALF-BOOT-STILETTO-HEEL-SHOES-/390156850219?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&var=&hash=item99ab27eef4 "Good Girls keep diaries....Bad Girls just don't have the time...!:icon_twisted:"
LukeVibertUK Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 High heels and sneakers are two styles that should never be mixed. Agreed Every year this style gets pushed out in a vain attempt that hopefully one year "everyone" will buy them. And yet every year they are the first styles to hit the Sales racks. Not for me.
tishandpun Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 I bought some Ash White Spot Heeled Laced High Tops (a.k.a. High Heel Sneakers) from myWardrobe and I actually find them very cool. They are even 50% off right now. Because it seems that I can't upload any image here, I posted one of me wearing the heels here: http://image-upload.de/file/RH3RnQ/13076bb973.jpg
hhboots Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 I am sure many here don't like them, but I bought some recently as a majority of my street heels are on the discreet side, and these fit nicely into that category. Here is a pair that is very close to what I bought s few months back (I can't find the actual style I bought online any longer, but these are close enough). I really have enjoyed them and they are very comfortable. They are some of my more heavily used heels at the moment. http://cgi.ebay.com/Womens-Shoes-Lace-Up-Sneaker-Wedge-Fashion-High-Heel-/170420519809?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&var=&hash=item6d6e473c03
Majo Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 ... if they are in production, certainly is because somebody buys! I believe sneakers should stay either as flats or as snikers. I vote for the second!
Cl0setheels Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 There also is another thread about high heeled sneakers: http://www.hhplace.org/guys/14533-high_heel_sneakers.html I really seem to like them and have six pair of high heel sneakers. I've posted pictures of them in the other thread.
danielp6406 Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Thanks hhfan for posting the pictures :-) I like the style a lot. I even got two similar pairs You may want to look at them here > http://www.hhplace.org/guys/14533-high_heel_sneakers-2.html#post218363 I could not agree more with Karen when she said "they feel ultra comfortable" Note that I only like the wedge heel type on sneakers. The regular thin heel style is ugly (my opinion) and would not be as comfortable for sure) It is quite unfortunate they don't offer them in your size... Speaking of wedge heel sneakers: I will wear the white ones tomorrow !
Hiline Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 I so wish those on ebay were for sale over here just not in the US i really really want some of those . They look like the kinda heels even i could wear out and about ( well about 100miles from here lol )
YYZ Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Now these are some interesting shoes I might have to get a pair... Only if I could find them in the converse boot style and with a wedge heel! Size 11 womens or a 9 mens!
mtnsofheels Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Found some HH sneaker Boots, Here is another pair of sneaker boots from Steve Madden which I have ordered but not recieved yet. They have 3 colors and upto size 11 US womens. Looking forward to them! Link; http://www.stevemadden.com/item.aspx?id=50461&DirectSearch=ENERGYY Mtnsofheels
danielp6406 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Nice sneakers :-) I didn't know Steve Madden had up to size 11 ! (At least not in their store when I visited them a while ago) Did you order them while in a Steve Madden store or via the internet ?
mtnsofheels Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Hi Daniel, In fact they just came in this afternoon, I am looking at them right now, and yes I did order them online. However when I opened them I noticed right away that the left shoe had a hole right near the toe cap. So I am in consultation with Steve Madden.com as what to do about them. Quite comfy and easy to walk in, kinda like a kick around sneaker, to the coffee shop on Saturday, waking the dog. Hope I can sort out the hole issue though. They seem to have a bunch of them too! Guest Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 as "bookends" to my demonia boots I have on one side (let's just say as in a shelf of a theme of books) my demonia platform sandals & on the other side my demonia high platform sneakers, both I will try to take a pic of to send in here, maybe tomorrow (& maybe the boots/avitar as well, but the blacks are the ones I have, not the tan color, so its not like anyone in here really cant see what they look like) as with the boots all the other demonias are ofcourse black:smile:
