  1. New Look sizing varies a little. From a reference point I usually wear EU41,5. From the wide fit collection I fit the ones marked as EU40. With other New Look shoes I usually have EU42 and boots EU42/43. I have quite a few New Look shoes so in general I'm very pleased with them.

I have toyed with the idea of ghe black and white pleaser booties.

Are they comfy ? How was the sizing ? And width ?

I usually have EU42 shoes. The box says US11M/EU 42 and the fit great. They are fairly wide. I'm thinking of getting the black/black version as well.

    Thank you!

I've gotten them in Germany at Deichmann and they were cheap. I believe the store is called Rack Room Shoes in the US. :)

  3. Always nice to see the new shoes others are getting! Great inspiration as well.

I've gotten quite a few new ones over the past months but have been too lazy to take pictures. I blame the heat! Here's a selection of my additions. I've gotten quite a few more but that would be a bit much to post. :cheeky:

I think they are selling to the Urban Millenial. The same target market the Buzz Feed article on Men in Heels appealed to.

No doubt this will have little appeal to the Rural Silent Gen, the rural Baby Boomer, or the Rural Gen X population here.

Did anyone here ever hear of Malcolm Gladwell?  He wrote about the Tipping Point (a moment of critical mass, the threshold, the boiling point) at which a paradigm shift occurs.  In the book the Tipping Point, Gladwell references the sale of Hush Puppy shoes.  How Hush Puppies went from being a lame brand sold only to the un-hip to a hugely successful national brand.  Thanks to a handful of downtown New York trendsetters (Urban Millenials at the time).  A group of "opinion makers" started wearing these shoes.  Others saw them and copied the style, with people even driving to out of the way places to stock up on Hush Puppies.  Then a few fashion designers used them on the runway and visibility reached a tipping point.  Hush Puppies experienced a renewal when company insiders were ready to quit.

A bit off discussion, but Buzzfeed is quite awesome in my opinion. Always doing fun stuff and they don't shy away from thinking outside the box.

Funny that a few replies below the article call #8 perfect. I'm more into the styles shown on #3, 9 and 24. :)

  6. I dont see the problem! :cheeky: I've got about 85 pair at the moment so can't comprehend a collection of that size though. Usually when I get bored with a pair or they don't fit as well as I thought I sell them or give them to my friend. She's gotten about 15 pairs or so over the years. There's a few that I don't wear but can't get rid of for sentimental reasons.
