    Hope your hearing fully recovers! I always have a slight beep (or a heavy beep when I've got the flu) and know how annoying it can be. Though I'm not having any hearing loss and I'm very happy with that. I do believe in the healing (heeling? ;-) ) powers of shoes (in one way or another). They make me feel more relaxed when I put them on. Don't know what it is but it helps. Shopping is still a little scary but I've reached the point where I enjoy it very much (usually I go together with a female friend which is even more fun than going alone).

    And if you can afford nice things like that, why not indeed. I'm very jealous of your figure though! Your outfits look very smart! Keep the good things coming.

  2. Did some New Look shopping again. Got a pair of real leather ankle 'shoeties' in the black friday sale. Also I finally found a pair of heels with front zipper that I actually fit in! I'm so happy! ;-)

    OOPS! Posted this in the wrong thread. Was supposed to be in the "New shoes" version. Can a mod move this post? :-)

    Holy smokes thats a lot of money for a pair of shoes! Wow! Somehow I would have a hate/love relationship with those. They are ugly and awesome at the same time (positive comment, not negative). ;-)

    I've gotten another pair of casual ankle boots (New Look), not quite as expensive, not even close ;-). I should really take some 'wearing them' pictures but for now this has to do. ;-) Not very high but I liked them and they fit like a glove. The heel isn't even noticeable.

    I normally fit in many (IT) 41 shoes, and my cobbler once measured my feet when creating custom-made boots, and he told me I am a 41.5.

    As Louboutins run a bit small, I took the size 41.5, and it fits perfect. If you are a size 41.5 and 41 is normally too small for you, you can get the Louboutins in size 42 (they go up to that size), and they should fit you.

    On Youtube: There was one guy commenting why another guy would buy women's boots. I couldresist answering him and also questioning why he is looking for Louboutin boots on Youtube :cheeky:... in the end, he probably enjoys watching women's boots videos. I don't enjoy watching so much, I rather wear them... :happy:

    @freestyle75

    I would love to give Louboutins a go but I'm afraid they are a bit beyond what I am willing to pay for shoes. And I probably die if I would damage them in the slightest way possible. :P I think they will be a little narrow as well? Since my feet are a little wide.

    I liked the reply nipping further discussion in the bud. :) I can enjoy both and have wasted many hours watching shoe collection video's on youtube. Very entertaining, especially while wearing heels. ;-)

    Yay... my Louboutin Bianca's did arrive today. Totally in awe by the boots :clap:, but the little red bag with the replacement tips is missing :-?...

    I thought it might be nice not to just post a picture, but a video. This way, I also learned that those videos from bloggers that look so effortless require LOTS of effort in fact, just e.g. the lighting. I don't have any video lighting sources, so in order not to have a hard shadow, I dimmed the lights... which made my SLR not focus correctly anymore and the iPhone movie become a bit blurred. Anyway... I hope that the quality is still sufficient to get a glimpse of how nice the boots look like. Size (IT) 41.5.

    Oh man I'm so jealous!!!! I'm pretty sure Louboutin's wouldn't fit me (allthough I'm a 41,5 as well) but they are my dream shoes! Great purchase!! I like that you made the video, the comments on youtube are off to a good start as well. Nothing really negative yet!

  6. I've been eyeballing the Pleaser Bordello series shoes for years. But Pleaser usually doesn't fit me properly. But a couple of weeks ago I went to a store in Rotterdam which sells them. So I couldn't resist giving them a go. I got the red Bordello Bella's there and they feel very nice to wear. So this created a chain reaction since I've been wanting the Teeze-20 (white/black) for years but always was too scared they wouldn't fit properly which made me hesitant to order them. But after getting the red ones I took the gamble and they are awesome! I'm totally in love with them. They fit very nice. I'm usually a 41-41,5EU. Got them in EU42 and they fit like a dream. The Teeze-06 (black) is available in an extra wide version. Loved how those looked aswell and got a pair of those too. With normal tights they are a bit roomy but with thicker thights they feel very nice to wear. Very happy with all of them. I'll try to make some pics of me wearing them soon-ish.

  7. I've been looking for a nice pair of ankle boots for a very long time. I found the pair attached at Zalando and was instantly in love. They arrived today but I'm dissapointed in the quality. They fit very nice and are easy to walk in but the left boot had a crease between the toe part and the front. It had this fresh from the box and it seemed scuffed where it had been in the production machine or something. This made me decide to return them. Such a dissapointment since they looked great and where a dream to wear. So my search continues. I'll go hunting for a pair in store soon and guess I better look for real leather ones.

    sorry about the bad quality of this pair. These boots look great though. good choice.

    I re-ordered them and now they are fine! I tried a couple of different pairs but din't like them. So I took the gamble and got a great pair now! I'l take some pictures soon. Also ordered a pair of knee high retro boots which took me back to my highschool days (see other attachement). Girls in those boots with tight white jeans...getting weak thinking about it, lol. But those weren't great. The left boot had the heel improperly attached and the zipper of the right one didn't work... oh well. At least success with the other ones. :)

  8. Lots of advice going on here. Not agreeing with all of it but everyone has his/her own view on things. :)

    If it where me i'd keep the conversation going. Nothing forced but I think it should be thoroughly discussed (over time) and both partners should be able to express how they feel about things and both should be heard. Until the both of you feel comfortable with the situation. Reaching a point where she's in a sort of denial state and you do things in 'secret' is not the way to go in my opinion. Mature people in a good relationship should be able to reach middle ground. :) And in essence what are we talking about....just shoes! ;)

    It's a good thing the both of you are going shopping, how did it go?

  9. As a wise girlfriend once told me, "they are just shoes!" If you embrace that philosophy it's not such a big deal. I remember a story my mum once told me. Back in the days (fifties I guess)  my mum had an aunt that wore pants. At the time that was not done and people though bad things of it. Nowadays, who cares about women wearing pants? (They can look damn good in them. ;) ) It's all about doing so and not caring. That last part is quite difficult but you need to get there. Women did so with pants (as with a huge amount of other things) so us men should do the same. And then people dare to call women the weaker sex...... ;)

    It might help to let her read some of these posts, if not all of it. :)

    Good luck with your situation and I hope things work out for the two of you!

  11. I have a lot of shoes that I would never even consider wearing out. I get what I like irregardless of look. So if you really want them and can afford them I would say, why not. :) I'm not really a wedge person but I like the ones you showed. I find walking on wedges more difficult than on normal heels though. They are a little more rigid I guess what makes it a little more difficult to me. But there are plenty people who don't agre with that I guess. ;-)

  12. Did some searching and I think you are right! I found some pictures with the same logo. Judged to soon. But also found out they run small compared to the regular Lita so still don't want to take the gamble due to the size. Did sent the seller an e-mail to let her know. :)

  13. I know that feeling wastheels. At least, I partly do. I'm not into dresses but I do like the more feminine look with heels. But don't really have the figure for skinnies and such either. I found middle ground in slim fit trousers which are a little short-ish so thet fully show my heels. Don't let all things happening get you down though. You'll probably end up getting your own place in the near future and than you have more freedom to do whatever you want.

    Out of curiosity, has the topic come up yet agian with your parents? In general parents love their children and when things get explained they can change their view on things.

    @Gudulitoo

    I kinda disagree with the "your parents decided to let you know". Or at least, from what I've read in the initial post they had a pretty bad attempt at it.

  14. Fellow Lita lovers, I have a question. I'm being offered a pair of "Lita's" but I'm having doubts about the authenticity. The logo on the inside doesn't match my other pair of Lita's which I'm 100% sure are genuine. These don't come with a box either so thats why I wonder. I attached some pictures of them. Are they knock-off or real?

    There are a few things more I notice which makes me doubt but before I accuse someone of trying to sell me something for too much money I like to be sure. :fine:
