Here we go again! With the weather warming up here I figured I would get another travel in. Not sure how many boot wearing opportunities I will have left before they are put away for spring and summer. I don't have much to report as I am writing this on my travels. This cafe is my first stop of the day before I run my few errands. So lets just get to the meat and potatoes of this thing.........The outfit and pics! The outfit 1) black knee boots with stiletto heel 2) dark wash blue jeans 3) green t-shirt 4) black jacket 5) black shoulder bag And here is a couple of pics. One with bag and one without. Enjoy! Comments and suggestions always welcome.

I think they look nice up close. Charlotte Olympia have some nice ones, but they are in the $900 range. Too much money for a novelty shoe. I would wear them. I love plats, but these are a bit too much.
Ash.
I agree! The charlotte olympias are very similar, and just as ugly.....lol But to each their own.

Looking good Jeff! I know I would't give you a second glance if I saw you out and about. And I'm not just saying that beacuse I am a fellow heel wearer myself!...........lol

It's been a while since I have done a significant outing. I have been out though. But those were just for a quick drive to the corner store in heels and such. I don't fell the need to post aboput those.
Today I had several errands to run. So I figured I would put on some heels and get out there! As usual, my day went off without a hitch. My travels are becoming kinda "boring". By that I mean no one seems to give me, or my outfit, the time of day. Sometimes I wish someone would notice or say something. I would love to spend some time discussing my outfit or their's! I would love to enlighten a few people about "what we do". But enough rambling.
For my outfit I chose the following.
1) brown Aldo knee boots with chunky heel
2) Guess jeans
3) red t-shirt
4) black jacket
5) black shoulder bag
Here is a pic of the outfit. Colmments and suggestions always welcome!

Those are nice. I have a similar pair from Aldo. They are one of my favorite pairs

Nice Find!
-
They actually look like pumps with thigh high leggings.
I think you are right! They are nice either way.

Here is my latest purchase. The brand is ingersole. The heel measures around 4 1/2". They are made out of some rubber like material. They are super comfy to wear. They were purchased new in box from Value Village, for those that live in Canada. And the best part is they were only $15! Here is a couple pics.

Hasn't happened to me yet. But like you, that is definitely my biggest fear!

That is too cool! Thanks for the pic Wetwillie.

Cool story Radiodave!

Nice find! I like how we to get to know the names of each shoe as they are being modeled.

I have yet to give my purple shoes a whirl. But I definitely will after seeing your pics. Thanks!

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Be it positive or critical. I am always looking for new ideas, or ways to improve.

Love reading your stuff Jeff. I am not personally a fan of long skirts on a man or a women! But that is besides my point! I like reading your stuff! You are one of many around here helping our cause with your constant stream of pics and posts about your jaunts. Thank you! And happy heeling!

It's been a long while since I had a chance to get out and travel. But the opportunity presented itself today! I am actually writing about this while I travel. So there isn't much to report. The outfit 1) black aldo ankle boots 2) black ladies dress pants 3) white ladies dress shirt 4) grey ladies blazer/coat 5) black camera/sholder bag And now for some pics!

"He cuts down trees, he wears high heels"
I love it! I could see them making a show, or super hero out of this. Lumberjack by day, high heels at night....lol Or better yet an episode of Coffee Talk with Linda Richman from Saturday Night Live. I'm a little farklempt. Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic. The high heeled lumberjack was neither a lumberjack nor did he were high heels. Discuss!
You can't always wear skinny jeans
Believe it or not these are skinny jeans! Not sure why they bunch though.

May be just me but the green plaid shirt is my biggest issue.
With my coat done up you couldn't see the shirt anyhow. I could have worn anything under my coat really. The only eyes that saw my shirt was everyone here....lol
Mr. X-thanks for taking the time not only to take the photo, but the effort to also upload them to the server here. Your pictures spark healthy constructive conversation about fashion and appearance, so thank you.
Fashion as we know it, is site specific. An outfit that kicks butt on the Lower East Side might not be so well received on the Upper East Side. And an outfit that is received well for a board meeting might not be so appropriate for running errands. I don't know where you live, but I'm in agreement with the above posters that your outfit definitely classifies as a solid casual, which seems appropriate for the context of running errands.
More specific than casual however, I'd say your look has a Seattle "Kurt Cobain" grunge reference to it. Now with regards to Seattle grunge and high fashion, at the SS13 shows this last September and October, grunge as a look was widely circulated. As you wore your shirt untucked and casual, so is the tied waist plaid in the Lim photo below equally casual and "sloppy". As your plaid (is it flannel?) print resurged with Kurt Cobain, so Kurt Cobain wigs were used on models at Theysken's Theory. Similarly, plaid as a PRINT was used on many looks at Dries's Paris Fashion Week show.
You did a good job color coordinating. My only issue is the color palette you decided to coordinate with. This is really just a matter of personal preference though.
Again, thanks for your pictures.
Thanks and well said kneehighs. Your opinion is always valued. Interesting pics too!

The casual look. I think your outfit looks just fine for a shopping trip and errand runs.
Thanks for sharing.
Your welcome! Glad you like it!
I must say Mr. X this one isn't doing it for me. Sorry. A bit too sloppy.
Thanks for the opinion! No offence taken. That is the beauty of this site. To each his own. One man's junk is another man's treasure! Not everything we do is going to be a hit to everyone all the time. But at least we are the one's in the trenches! And hit or miss I am enjoying every minute of it! As I am sure you and everyone else is as well!

Time for another update to my travel pages. Hope everyopne had a good Christmas and New Years! I guess this my first travel of the New Year. I don't have internet at my place yet these days. Therefore, my internet access is limited. I have been regulated to using my laptop in various internet spots around town whenever possible. So in another Mr. X first. I am reporting on my travel during my travel! I took, and uploaded the pics before hand. I am out and about and everything is going off without a hitch. Most of my day was spent running errands and doing a little window shopping. I won't bore you with the details......lol. Now for ther outfit and some pics! My outfit came together rather easily. And I had a new womens black jacket I recently purchased. I was dying to try it out! Enjoy! Comments and suggestions always welcome. the outfit 1) green plaid shirt 2) black womens winterish jacket 3) light brown kneeish length aldo boots with chunky heel 4) Light brown purse/carry all

Pretty sure I talked about them here before. But here's what I got. The brand is "diba" and the heel measures 4 1/2 ". I believe I purchased them at "Winners" here in canada for around $50 or so.
