Shafted,
The ankle length is a popular length for the women this summer. I like that look on women and that's what I'm presenting when I wear ankle length jeans. I like the look and I do get compliments from the ladies. That's what is important to me!
Today, Sunday I wore royal blue, flared, dress pants, white camp shirt, my Pleaser white patent, pumps with 3-1/2" tapered heels, black knee-hi hose and carried my Stone & Co, white bag. As JeffB says, the bag should match the shoes.
I did get some compliments on my appearance this morning at Church, the Supermarket, Super Walmart and Office Depot. I also got a couple of stares too, but you have to accept that, if your going to wear heels as a man.
I always enjoy myself out in heels!
Happy Heeling,
bluerjay
Love the blue and white combo on you. Well done!

Nice shoes Happy! I really like both pairs!

Lets start with the story. I replied on line to an ad for some heels that someone was selling locally. The lady answered my questions. Then she gave me her contact info to get in touch with her. At this point she doesn't know who I am, or my gender. I called her up and she answered the phone. I told her who I was and why I was calling. I was cleary a "man" on the phone and I gave my "male" name as well as part of my greeting. I told her I was interested in seeing the shoes. I was prepared to go immediately to see them if possible. Unfortunately though she said that was not possible. Now here is the interesting part. She said, and I quote. "I live out in the country, but my husband works in town everyday, and he would be able to bring them into town for you if you would like to try them on." I found it cool and interesting that she just assumed they were for me! She didn't ask if I was buying them for someone else or nothing! Thoughts? And here is the questions I had for anyone, but mainly those who are not really "out of the closet" to anyone, and who are buying shoes from someone selling privately. 1) Do you metion they are for you at the door or on the phone? 2) Do you try them on, or just take them home and take your chances? The reason I ask is because I am in "in the closet" so to speak. And I just figure the more interaction I have with people the more word may get around to someone I know about my heels. Or I could see being in public with friends or family and passing someone I purchased heels from. Then they will stop and say, hey! how are the heels? or something along those lines. So how far have you gone, or are you willing to go in such a situation, while still trying to maintaining your annonimity? It sems like a fine line. And are we willing to deal with the possible consequences if we cross it? I am not sure that I am! Thanks for listening. Interested to here the responses.

Hi Daisuku,
I have some stretch white pants (similar style) and many more white outfits that I wear.
In terms of Heels
Nude
Leopard
pop a bright colour such as Red, or maybe hot-pink, neon green!?
Silver/Gold or metallic heels might work
For Jackets
pair a black jacket (and leopard heels with gold accessories) looks awesome
Pink jacket with white legs/ white dress also looks really good.
hope this helps
Cheers
Heel-Lover
Might have to try some of these myself. Thanks!

I was passing through Primark last week and saw these turquoise sculpted wedges on sale for £6. Amazingly they had my size, they weren't scuffed, and when I tried them on in the store they fit well so I couldn't resist buying them.
They have a 6" heel with a 2" platform. I think they work well with the white cropped jeans I bought recently and a turquoise blazer I've had for years.
Not too crazy about the shoes. But I love the outfit!

Nice to hear from you again Heelguy. Those shoes are not my personal cup of tea. But don't let that stop ya!

Thanks for your responses guys! I did it! I went heeling with mom. We went to the mall, starbucks and out to dinner. I wore the portside pumps(the ones in my avatar), and she wore stacked heel boots and a skirt. I couldn't get any pictures(I wish!) I don't want her to think of it as a fetish. All went well, and she said I look quite trendy. Not al all like a crossdresser, just a person that wants to make changes in the currant lame offerings for men. Ill try to get a pic of her. She says she has a picture of herself in a cocktail dress and strappy pumps. Can't wait to see that!
That is too cool pumpcat! My mom does not wear heels much anymore. But I still dream of the day when I can be out in public with her openly wearing some heels of my own.

Sounds like you had fun sleek. Keep it up!

I want my bellybutton pierced, but no where else.
That has crossed my mind too

Your style looks very casual. Right up my alley.

Another great outing Jeff! Forgive me if you've done it all ready. But have you ever considered adding pantyhose to the equation?
-
Loved reading something new again from you Jeff! Keep it up!

Here is a link to my latest purchase. Not a huge platform fan, but at least it is hidden. Plus, I like my heels high, and these are high! The website list the heel at 5". I measured it more like 5 1/2 " In store with discounts, I paid like $40 for these.
