Got a pair of Nine West Nixit pumps, they are not too bad, but a bit tight on the toes, and with a little more toe cleavage then I am used to
So, I think I will return em. Oh wellToo bad! Those shoes are hot!

I'm back with another outing to report. Just a quick trip today. I knew I wouldn't be out very long, so I chose a quick casual outfit. I knocked off a few quick errands. The rest of the time was spent just window shopping and general Mr. X time. The day went off without a hitch. Even though my heels were more or less on display the entire time, except for what my pants covered. Now on to the outfit and pics. The outfit 1) mens casual black polo style t-shirt 2) womens dark wash slim flare leg jeans 3) BCBG wine colored croc skin heels 4) black camera/carry all bag Comments and suggestions always welcome!

The other night, I wore teal colored capri jeans with a white polo shirt and a pair of white wedge heel sandal slides, from Covington (Sears) that I bought a few years back. Because the shoes are white they only get worn in the summer. They looked great with my ensemble. I will be posting some pics when I get time to do so.
Happy Heeling,
bluejay
Can't wait to see the pics!
Mr. X: Yes, that is certainly a nice look, but it could use some tweaking here and there like Shafted suggested. Otherwise, well done!
I will definitely be tweaking.

Tip: Cuff the jeans up so that the excess slack material is taken up. They look like they were made for someone with very long legs.
The top, I like the waist darts. Not so much the chest darts. I like it better with the jacket.
Kudos on embracing color!
I will definitely try cuffing the jeans. I noticed the jeans slack too! Not when I bought them though. Plus I kinda put this outfit together in a hurry, It definitely needs some tweaking!

I was out the other day shopping at one of the local thrift stores. I have been looking to add some colored jeans to my wardrobe, but they have been eluding me without spending an arm and a leg! While I was browsing I came upon 6 pairs of colored jeans in various colors, and in my size. I went to try them on. Unfortunately, only 1 pair fit. But fit they did! They were more comfortable than any pant I can remember owning. And they were skinny to boot! The price was also reasonable so they cam home with me. Now here is the skinny on the jeans. No pun intended! They are Forever 21 in a mint green color. Since I got them home I have been putting together outfits with them. Here is what I have come up with. The outfit 1) "The Limited" white ladies dress shirt 2) "Rickis" black ladies jacket 3) "Forever 21" mint green skinny jeans 4) "Aldo" white d'orsay style heels Here is 2 pics. One with and without the jacket. Comments and suggestion are always welcome. Thanks!

Here is my latest purchase. I picked them up in a thrift store for around $10. They have slight wear and tear but nothing major. They have a lot of life left in them.
I noticed how high they were on the shelf straight away. I like my shoes high! So these were right up my alley! I checked the size and they were an 8 1/2. I am normally a 9 1/2 to 10. I tried them on anyway and they fit perfectly! I don't know if my feet are shrinking, or shoes are hit or miss. But I find myself fitting alot more 9's and 8 1/2's lately. I now know what women mean when they say shoes can fit large or small. But if I can go down as much as 1 shoe size, that will definitely expand my options. ut back to the shoes.
They definitely felt high on my feet when I tried them on. And I like high shoes! I estimated the heel height to be between 5 and 6 inches with a hidden platform. When I got them home I auditioned them some more. I also measured them and took some pics. Cant wait to take these on an outing. Here are some stats and pics.
The shoes themselves are "Paprika" brand. They are dark grey with black bottoms. The heel measures 5 1/2 inches with a 1 inch platform. I am not a huge platform fan, but I can tolerate these.
Here is a pic of the shoes and 1 of me wearing them. What do you think?

I still need to practice my poses to cut down on the glare from the lenses, but I see that as a challenge.
Now you know why all my pics are headless! lol

Your latest outfit looks great Jeff! Love the blue black combo! But the funny thing is, I noticed the glasses first! I can't recall seeing you wear them before. And as a glasses wearer, I noticed them straight away! Details? Oh, and they look good on you by the way.

Johnny Cash isn't the only man in black. Well done!

Way to go TBG! Love your red and black outfit!
-
Nice outfit Jeff! You look really comfortable in it too! I really like the contrast of Blue and black. Well done!

Catching up on your thread Lime. Liking some of the outfits and experimentation lately!

Another example of how heels on a man can look great if done properly. Well done!
-
i got Stilleto too! I always knew me and shoes went hand in hand lol

I am a fan of shorter skirts as apposed to long ones. So your new outfit totally work for me! Well done!

Nice shoes Saudade! Those red heels are super hot!

Well done, Mr. X! The boots looked sharp, and the jacket was pretty stylish! Bravo, my friend!
I like the boots too! Even though they have basically no heel, they are quickly becoming one of my favorite pairs! It also proves that for me it is becoming more than just "heels". Don't get me wrong, I love heels! But I love putting together complete stylish outfits just as much! And if a nice pair of heels is part of the outfit, so much the better!
Of course black jeans would've looked fine too, but I really like that you wore blue jeans, grey is great for bringing out a colour element. It's nice that the lady's remark picked out the boots - I don't think compliments like that are given unless the boots are worn well with the rest of the outfit, so definitely a success!
Black jeans would work! But I didn't want to have to much drab in my outfit. And you are right about compliments. I do tend to get them more or less when I am wearing a complete stylish outfit!
I like the coat Mr. X. Looks quite warm and cozy for the cold days.
You would think so, but not exactly! Maybe with a scarve and gloves you could wear it on a really cold day.
Great outfit! I like the shoulder bag, too. Well done!
Steve
I like the bag too! The colour goes with alot! And it is very gender neutral in design.

It's been quite cold here so I haven't really had a chance to get out much. But today it was warmer than it's been so I made an outing out of it. I had to run a few errands and do some window shopping.
One of my first stops was the bank to get some cash. I was going in and a middle aged women was coming out. As she was leaving she said nice boots! I said thank you! It kinda took me by surprise, but it was a nice way to start my outing. The rest of the outing went off without a hich. No other interactions either positive or negative. I finished what I needed to do before heading home and calling it a day..
Now for the outfit
1) black t-shirt
2) grey ladies military style jacket
3) tan shoulder bag
4) darker blue skinny jeans
5) greyish brown wedge heel boots
Now for some pics. Comments and suggestions welcome. Thanks!

I can see why you love skirts so much Jeff. Your pictures convey that message. You look very comfortable in them. Keep it up!

Nice to hear you are hitting the pavement again Jeff. That is quite a large necklace! But like you said. With all you have going on in that outfit, it is funny they noticed and complimented on the necklace.
-
I loved the first outfit saudade! But I can't say the same about the second one. It is a bit much! Some of the pieces are nice, but try them on there own.

Here is my latest addition to my collection. I got them in a thrift shop for less than $20! The brand is Craze. They are a brownish grey slouchy boot with buckle detailing, and a side zipper. They also have a 3 1/4" wedge heel. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Can't wait to wear them out!

Here is my latest acquisition. The brand is "Paprika". The color is hot pink/fuschia. The heel is a little bit chunkier and measures around 5 inches with a 3/4 inch platform. They fit me just a tad small in the toe area. But I think I can work them in. They look brand spanking new! And I picked them up in a thrift store for less than $20!
