  1. With coller temperature coming around these parts I decided to head out and about on a Sunday.  The cooler temperatures also provided me the opportunity to head out on my first boot outing of the year.  I will report back if anything happens while om my travels.

Here is what I am wearing today.

    1) green t-shirt

    2) womens belted coat

    3) blue skinny jeans

    4) Aldo tan color boots with chunky heel

    5) Tan color bag

  2. Love the red jeans with the black pumps , Mr. X!

    Thanks!

I also love the look of the red skinny jeans and black pumps!!  Boots are OK but the pumps are hot!  Any comments while you were out?  Either way you look great.

I would love to get some some comments when I am out.  But alas, I did not!

Wearing those red jeans is just as bold as wearing heels. That's a great look Mr.X, I think the boots look better with the jacket you're wearing. The stilettos look fantastic too but maybe a lighter weight blazer (or a smart black leather jacket) would bring the look together nicely. It's good to know you're out there looking good!

Thanks for the compliments!  I thought the red jeans were bold too!  I will take your fashion advice under advisement for a future outing.  As I said before.  I definitely plan to wear those pants and stilettos in the future.

  3. Time once again to report on another outing.  Had some errands to run today so I though I would make an outing out of it.

Today was a first for me!  Normally my outfits consist of blue or black pants.  If I wear color, it is usually up top.  Today I mixed it up!  The other day I picked up a pair of red skinny pants.  I instantly feel in love with them!  I was dying to do an outing in them.  Today was that day!

Here is my outfit as presented.

    1) white shirt with black and grey detailing

    2) womens button/belted jacket

    3) old navy red stretch skinny jeans/cords

    4) spring brand chunky heel ankle boots

    5) black cross body camera type bag

I also took a picture of me wearing the exact same outfit.  Except that I switched up the shoes.  In one pic I am wearing BCBG flat black stilettos.  I liked the look so much I will probably wear it on a future outing!  I already had plans to wear the boots.  So I figured I would save the stilettos for another day.  And I liked the boots just as much anyhow!

Enjoy!  Comments and suggestions welcome as always.

  4. From the photos I can barely tell you're wearing heels, so if I saw you in the street I'd probably notice the stylish silhouette and colour scheme of the outfit overall and I'd be suitably impressed. What heels do those boots have?

They are slighty chunky heels in the 4 inch range.

Nice and subtle, Mr. X. By the way, I like the blazer.

    Thanks!

    Looks good Mr. X.

On a side note - I have always been taken by your avatar (Italian Heels)

I shop there all the time....

Just curious if you still make outings in strappy sandals? Or have you shifted to primarily boots (easier for a guy to co-ordinate?)

I do outings in heels of all kinds, including sandals.  But I definitely do more boot outings.  It is definitely easier for me to co-ordinate outfits with boots.

  5. My how time flies!  It's been a while since my last outing!  It's not that I haven't been out in heels.  It's just that I haven't had anything worthy of documenting.  I am in the midst of my outing as I type this.  It is going to be a short outing today.  Nothing specific planned for my outing.  Just some Mr. X time, and some window shopping.  I need to get home and do some things there.

It is early morning as I type.  So most of the places I visit will be less crowded.  So I probably won't get much in the way of "judging", and "crowd reaction".  But I will see what happens, and let you know.  Now on to the outfit of the day.

I threw this together in probably 5 minutes!

    1) red t-shirt

    2) womens belted coat

    3) womens slacks

    4) spring brand ankle boots

    5) black camera/shoulder bag

Now for a couple pics.  Comments and suggestions welcome.

  6. Here's a couple of my latest purchases. The first ones are nude patent. The brand is George. Which I believe is a Walmart brand. I picked these up in a second hand store though. The model is terra. The heel measures four and a quarter inches with a small hidden platform. The second pair is from Aldo. The model is achocalla. And the heel measures four and three quarter inches.

  7. Shafted,

The ankle length is a popular length for the women this summer. I like that look on women and that's what I'm presenting when I wear ankle length jeans. I like the look and I do get compliments from the ladies. That's what is important to me!

Today, Sunday I wore royal blue, flared, dress pants, white camp shirt, my Pleaser white patent, pumps with 3-1/2" tapered heels, black knee-hi hose and carried my Stone & Co, white bag. As JeffB says, the bag should match the shoes.

I did get some compliments on my appearance this morning at Church, the Supermarket, Super Walmart and Office Depot. I also got a couple of stares too, but you have to accept that, if your going to wear heels as a man.

I always enjoy myself out in heels!

    Happy Heeling,

    bluerjay

Love the blue and white combo on you. Well done!

  8. Lets start with the story. I replied on line to an ad for some heels that someone was selling locally. The lady answered my questions. Then she gave me her contact info to get in touch with her. At this point she doesn't know who I am, or my gender. I called her up and she answered the phone. I told her who I was and why I was calling. I was cleary a "man" on the phone and I gave my "male" name as well as part of my greeting. I told her I was interested in seeing the shoes. I was prepared to go immediately to see them if possible. Unfortunately though she said that was not possible. Now here is the interesting part. She said, and I quote. "I live out in the country, but my husband works in town everyday, and he would be able to bring them into town for you if you would like to try them on." I found it cool and interesting that she just assumed they were for me! She didn't ask if I was buying them for someone else or nothing! Thoughts? And here is the questions I had for anyone, but mainly those who are not really "out of the closet" to anyone, and who are buying shoes from someone selling privately. 1) Do you metion they are for you at the door or on the phone? 2) Do you try them on, or just take them home and take your chances? The reason I ask is because I am in "in the closet" so to speak. And I just figure the more interaction I have with people the more word may get around to someone I know about my heels. Or I could see being in public with friends or family and passing someone I purchased heels from. Then they will stop and say, hey! how are the heels? or something along those lines. So how far have you gone, or are you willing to go in such a situation, while still trying to maintaining your annonimity? It sems like a fine line. And are we willing to deal with the possible consequences if we cross it? I am not sure that I am! Thanks for listening. Interested to here the responses.

  9. Hi Daisuku,

I have some stretch white pants (similar style) and many more white outfits that I wear.

    In terms of Heels

    Nude

    Leopard

pop a bright colour such as Red, or maybe hot-pink, neon green!?

Silver/Gold or metallic heels might work

    For Jackets

pair a black jacket (and leopard heels with gold accessories) looks awesome

Pink jacket with white legs/ white dress also looks really good.

    hope this helps

    Cheers

    Heel-Lover

Might have to try some of these myself. Thanks!
