Woo hoo!!!!
Dear Friends, I just went for a short walk tonight. 2.7km... Checked the time when I finished? It was only 33 minutes!! That's a walking pace of almost 5 km/h, in my favourite 5" heel boots!!!
The worst thing was I ran out of time. Could easily have kept walking for another 30 minutes and would've gladly done so. These boots are so much fun to wear!
My feet and calf muscles feel good. I feel good! And it's good to be back!!! Cheers

Well, the rain cleared last night, so I drove to one of my favourite secluded spots and set off for a 1 hour walk. Wore my favourite black boots. I know I should dive into my collection and mix it up a bit...
But we know how it is... We all have that one special pair! All my boots are special. I wouldn't have bought them otherwise!!! , But there can only be one favourite pair!
Anyway, my calves were a little sore, but my feet were fine. So, my high heel fitness continues to improve!
I used to marvel at the women on the railway station, wearing their sexy high heel boots, I wondered how they would manage a 10-20 minute walk to and from the railway station every day. (Not all of them got driven to the station by car).
Well, now I know it can be done. Now I can walk in my 5" heel boots for an hour without noticeable discomfort. Fun! Fun! Fun!!!
I still watch and daydream about walking to the station in my boots, wearing boots all day at work, and then walking home in my boots at the end of the day.
For the moment, I'm still dreaming. For the moment I am still discreet. But not forever! The day will come when I stride out confidently in public, wearing my boots!
Cheers

Well friends, I won't improve my high heel fitness by sitting on the lounge watching tele. It's about priorities!
So I donned my my fav boots for the second time this week and drove to a favourite secluded spot for a 45 minute walk.
And I'm getting better. Towards the end I was really starting to stride with balance and confidence, just like the good ol' days! Need some more calf muscle fitness, but it will come.
Forgotten how much fun it is wearing high heels!!! And glad to be rediscovering it!!!

Thank you for the nice comments about my picture gallery. Don't hear positive encouragement on the fShion front...
Thought to purchase the sweater with sewn white hem but don't believe many people at work would appreciate me wearing one. Obviously it's made for females and many already give me grief wearing feminine fashions. Can't wear my booties and when I did wear a tunic to work many woman had their suspicions or familiarity to the item being for their gender. Only receive smirks from females and comments that I have issues because what I wear often keeping their distance.

Well, I think Zac looks GREAT in those jeans, they fit him perfectly whether or not they were designed for women. True, seeing Zac in those jeans and killer hi heel boots would be amazing, and he could surely pull it off, no one is qoing to question Zac's masculinity. Zac is obviously confident and masculine, and would look great in boots, to me he would look amazing powerful and confident. I guess I wish that more masculine guys like Zac would challenge fashion "norms" by wearing more hi heeled boots, helping to make it more acceptable for less confident guys like myself. Currently, I have no problem wearing my 3" women's frye boots, and 4" women's square toe boots anywhere, but much more reserved when it comes to my 5" stiletto boots.
I agree, seeing women in tall shafted boots with flat heels is disappointing, but surely better than no boots at all. Just because high heeled boots are considered "female wear", not all women look great in them, many can't walk well in them as well. To me, guys with larger feet have an easier time walking in higher heels because of decreased foot angle due to the longer length. And, just like women, not all guys can pull off high heel boots successfully, but it sure is a powerful look when it works!
Thanks for all your insight and amazing pictures!

I hear ya buddy! Like I say, many negative comments just come from jealousy and insecurities! The proof is when women compliment you while their peers are not around. My level of confidence is no where near yours, but I share your frustrations. My biggest frustration is finding a cool pair of boots that I can afford, but they are way too small!
Enjoy yourself and wear what you like, and thanks for all the inspiration!

I applaud you for having the confidence to be yourself at work, in spite of the negative reactions. I truly believe many negative reactions/giggles/comments come from a place of jealousy. Some women are insecure and feel threatened thinking that some guys might look better in traditional female fashions than they do. And, I usually find guys that protest the loudest are usually the most insecure as well. I truly believe that many guys have a secret desire to wear/look good in female fashions, most don't have the body and fashion sense to pull it off successfully though. You obviously take good care of yourself and look great in female fashions. I don't mind admitting I am jealous, but that is OK.
Again, I applaud you for having the strength to be yourself in spite of public opinion. Trust me, you look great buddy, and are a true inspiration for all of us here! Don

Hey buddy,
Please don't be offended by the "push back" to your posts. I, for one, am not ashamed to admit that I an envious of your ability to wear your boots confidently, and not let your (ours too) love of heels take a back seat to relationships or idiotic societal norms.
I'm sure you have had, and will continue to have plenty of relationships. Women know what we know, guys look great in heels and boots, when they can pull off the look with confidence. Not many of us have the body style that can pull off the look successfully, but I'm sure you have worked hard to stay in shape and look good.
We all have to make some concessions to have a successful relationship, but these concessions should not have anything to do with our passions or things that define us. Ideally, a good relationship partner should think we look great in heels also.
So, please don't take offense at the push back, I think many of us are truly envious that you are living your life the way we only dream of.
Thanks for the encouragement

Just saw the photo of your Paul Bond Mt. Hood Ostrich boots, just beautiful. I have the same pair in black bullhide. Black 20.5 inch shaft with blue collar & yellow inlay. Heel is 2 1/2 inches on the side, 3 1/4 on back. Total height of 23 inches. Here's a link to a photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/61557993@N07/5625273181/in/set-72157626512436486
