Hi - I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

I have always been interested in womans heels, particually boots! I have never owned a pair until now. I have brought a pair of thigh boots from a company called Italianheels - here is the link

http://www.italianheels.com/cgi-bin/showbig.pl?categoria=boots〈=en&item=4001

They are only for indoor wear as I would not have the courage to wear them outside. Great pair of boot though - black leather with silver leather linning, leather soles and 12 cm heel!

Let me know what you think?

Would anyone be interested in me adding pics of me wearing the boots???

Would be good to hear from some of you!

Hello, good evening & welcome... Wow. Gorgeous boots. So how much did you pay for those beauties? Listed price is about ÂŁ130. That's not bad for your first ever high-heel purchase! I think you should get your money's worth by posting some pics.

Nice boots indeed. Welcome. The shoes in my avatar are from there. I just haven't saved enough money to buy them yet. O, Yes, we would love to see some pics and may I say "excellent choice for first pair".

Welcome to the forum! Those are great looking boots. Get comfortable wearing them (both mentally and physically) then don’t be afraid to wear them outside. It would be a shame to hide a great looking pair of boots. Enjoy the forum and your boots.

Welcome to the site. Great pair of boots.

Thanks for your kind comments - I will add some pics over the weekend. The boots are great, as I said just for indoor wear at the min, not sure how to best 'try' wearing them outside first - probably be easier with the dark nights approaching??? Any advice from more 'experienced' boot wearers would be appreciated!

While your boots look great, I can understand your feeling a little hesitant to wear them outside just now. What worked for me was to start with a pair of boots with a little bit thicker and shorter heel and get comfortable wearing them with blue jeans out in public. Once I had done this for extended periods on several different occasions, I became more daring in the style of boots I wore. Also, if you go someplace where you are sure you will not run into someone you know, it's a little easier starting out. Over time, you will begin to think that it doesn't really matter what other people think, as long as you're wearing what pleases you.

Hello and welcome ThighBoots, Great Boots, your first purchase was a fine pair. There can be lots of fun wearing your high heel Boots indoors but we can already sense an urge to extend that further. a great opportunity to wear them indoors but with others who also enjoy heels, is the 3rd Annual World Heel Meet, right in your backyard! See the "real life meetings" discussion topic and the threads on the meet, Feb 16, 2008 in London at the Millers Pub. we have the Pub for the day, exclusively for the members here at HHPlace to meet, mingle, chat, share and wear heels. Hope you will be able to join us, we'll be in our thigh Boots! david & cathy

“probably be easier with the dark nights approaching” Nope, going someplace dark is not the way to do this.

First, practice walking in your boots until it feels natural.

Second, pick an outfit that looks good with your boots. Jeans with a nice shirt and jacket (coat) always goes well.

Third, with that outfit and your boots on, look at yourself in a full length mirror and make sure you are comfortable with what you are seeing. If you are not comfortable, don’t go out. If you think the image in the mirror is great, head on out to a crowded place where you are comfortable.

The key to the whole thing is being comfortable with what you are doing. When you’re comfortable, you can be confident. If you are confident, the rest of the world will recognize it and give you your space. If you aren’t confident the rest of the world will have fun at your expense.

When I started going out I liked to maintain some anonymity so I went to public places where no one knew me. However, after a few outings, folks recognized the guy in boots and I found I had an even better time. The thing about public places rather than dark ones is a matter of your own safety. If your not sure about a place, don’t go in wearing thigh boots until you are sure it’s a safe place to be (boots or not).

In all honesty, Thighboot Guy and I do have separate life styles. There are places I don’t go as Thighboot Guy and I don’t have a problem with that. But, there are lots of places I do go as Thighboot Guy and I have a ball doing it.

Enjoy your boots!

Thanks for your comments. I am going to add some pics of me wearing my new leather thigh boots tomorrow (as I have finally submitted sufficeint posts!): - some with how I would HAVE to wear them outside, under jeans which is a real shame! - some how I would like to wear them out OVER skinny jeans! Unfortunatley I do not think I will have the confidence to, and South East England is not that accepting! - lasty, how I enjoy them at home, with a nice short mini skirt!:silly: I hope to recieve some feedback - it may give me the confidence to attend one of the arranged HH meets!!!

Hi Thighboots,

at least they are offering my size and very nice shoes for guys! But why do you not have the courage to wear them outside? You must not wear the highest heels on the street. I have switched down in past some gears. In my opinion 8-cm-heels are a nice choice for guys on the street!

Sometimes I'm pondering why the guys are looking always for extreme heels and on the other side they are pissing into their trousers when wearing 3'' heels in public is on the topic?

Hi there - as promised, I now have some pics of me wearing my new boots! As a first pair ever, I have to say I am very impressed with 'Italian Heels' and highly recommend them! Mine are size 44! Worth every penny (pound)

Anyway.

These first two pics are just of the boots, they are linned with a silver nappa leather, very soft and smells great!

http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee45/leatherboots/25.jpg

The next 3 are how I will wear them, if and when I have the guts to try them outside! I am getting there, I have been out to my garage this am, put the recycling out ..............

http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee45/leatherboots/2.jpg

http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee45/leatherboots/3.jpg

The next 5 are of how I would love to be able to wear them outside, shopping and just going out and about - with skinny jeans to really show the boots off - I just cannot see that society will ever see this as the norm though!! That said, this is exactly how I am dressed now waiting for the postman to bring me a parcel I am expecting!!!!

The last 7 are definately for indoors only, with a nice pleated mini skirt. I have a leather mini skirt on order and will post more pics once it arrives.

Wearing the boots bare legged is definately best, you get the feel and appreciate the way the boot and leather feels!

Comments would be appreciated - as I have said, I am new to heel wearing, but LOVING IT!!!!!!!!

You really need to read postings by Thighbootguy if you would like to find out what it is like to wear fully exposed thigh boots out in public. I would imagin that he would be able to give you some good advice about what to wear with them and where to go.

Thanks for posting the Pictures. I really like the “boots and jeans” look on you and, your right, those are great looking boots and you look good wearing them! Remember to practice walking in those boots until it becomes natural.

One more sermon then I’ll get off my soap box.

“how I would love to be able to wear them outside, shopping and just going out and about - with skinny jeans to really show the boots off - I just cannot see that society will ever see this as the norm though!!”

Now that you have posted some pictures, that’s as good as looking in a full length mirror. Do YOU like what you see? Are YOU comfortable being seen dressed in thigh boots with heels? Notice, I didn’t ask what you thought “society” would think about it. Society is just a bunch of other folks (most of whom don’t wear thigh boots) that you are letting dictate what the acceptable is. The real key decision is “Do I look in good in thigh boots with heels?”, and that is a decision only YOU can make.

I really do like the look of boots and jeans on me and I don’t let what “sociery” collectively thinks about it bother me. After I have been to a place a couple of time, and the folks there get used to seeing me, it really is no big deal.

I may sound like I’m pushing but it seems a shame to hide a great looking pair of boots like yours. Consider trying this, go to a mall, museum, large store,
that is away from where you normally go. That takes away the “what if someone I know sees me” problem. Pick a descent location where folks behave in a reasonable manner. Wear your boots over your jeans and go shopping or museuming. The hardest thing you will do is getting out of the car. After you step out, give yourself a few seconds to come to grips with the fact that you really are doing this and settle down a bit. Once you have done that just walk in like you own the place. You may get a whistle or hoot but that rarely happens to me. You will have the time of your life. People really don’t care what you wear and will accept most anything (especially if they think you are going to spend money).

This really is a head game. You have to have enough confidence in yourself that you can wear thigh boots with heels and really present them as just a good looking pair of boots and it’s normal for you to wear them. If you can do that, go for it and you will have a ball.

I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.

Thanks for your comments thighbootguy!! Do you have any pics of you out and about in boots??? Speaking to other like minded boot lovers is helping me to accept that it is not 'wrong' to wear high heeled boots!

take it from thighbootguy, thighboots-he has been out & about in his great looking thighboots, & if I had a pair them, I'd do it too! (in other words my good friend, if HE can do it, so can YOU! its just that simple) I wear my NINE WEST boots out & also my DEMONIA boots (pictured in my avitar, the black ones) but only in my house do I like to wear them BOTH fully exposed I think that for me they look much better with long tight boot-cut levis OVER them, & I'm happy! cheers

Hi Thighboots,

Congrats on your purchase.

How did you find IH's sizings?, I ordered a pair of shoes in a euro size 43, having printed off the sizing guide from IH's website.

(for reference, this is a foot-shaped guide that you print onto an A4 sheet, once having checked its measurements against a known length, you then draw an outline around your feet to gauge your size).

Despite a couple of emails between IH & myself the shoes sadly turned out to be way too small, and I had to let them go on eBay at quite a loss.

This is a shame, as I am desperate to order the boots as currently shown in my avatar.

On a different matter, as you are from the SE part of the UK then I assume that London for you is quite easy to get to, maybe you could consider a trip to the world heel meet next year, having never been I am definately going to try & make it.

I am a 43 in 'normal' shoes, so ordered the 44. They fit perfectly which is great considering they have a 12cm heel! Not sure I am going to be able to meet at the 'event' in London as its a Saturday and my girlfriend will be off - that is unless I have told her about my 'boot fetish' before hand????? I would be interested in meeting up with other like minded heel lovers though, make the whole process less intimidating! If there are a few of us in the SE it might be worth trying to arrange a weekday meet say once every 3 months???

Very nice boots. I like the pictures of you in jeans and your boots. I just recently purchased my first pair of thigh boots with a 5 1/2 inch high heel. I wore them around the house the first day I bought them. I went for a walk in them the next day (jeans over boots) and I received some interesting looks. But they are fun to wear. I try to wear them for a while every day. I don't have any real advice for you on your boots. Just wear them the way you feel comfortable wearing them and have fun and enjoy them.
