Laurieheels Posted May 30, 2002 Posted May 30, 2002 You know, Inga, 750 is soooo close for you. I know you're busy, but hey, post away! You can make it! And see? Quick, short, and it makes some sense as well!
DesertHeeler Posted May 30, 2002 Posted May 30, 2002 Maybe Inga isn't eager to get rid of her 5 inch spiky boots. Ken
Laurieheels Posted June 1, 2002 Posted June 1, 2002 Maybe, but we'll have to let her decide on that... I would think she'd want a pair of stilettos that were 5.5
viktoriaheels Posted June 3, 2002 Posted June 3, 2002 Celebrating my kittens - wonderful feeling Never without 5" heels, and always with a very short skirt
Laurieheels Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 Okay, this is it. Everyone take notice. This is #1000. I will have to make this my last post for tonight, to keep the number looking nice. At least, it will look nice for 23 hours. New shoes, new milestone, far too much chattering on my part. Thank you, everyone, for putting up with my endless posting about everything.
DesertHeeler Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 Congrats Laurie, may your next 1000 posts be as entertaining as your first 1000. Ken
ShockQueen Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 YAY LAURIE!!! Congrats on being the 2nd person to get into Debbie's 6" oxfords! I guess she needs to order more pairs for the rest of us when we get there eventually. SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
viktoriaheels Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 Wow....congratiolations....and I have another 948 posts to go...uuuuhhuuuuhh! Never without 5" heels, and always with a very short skirt
azraelle Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 You look ok in Kittens...they sure beat 3" wedgies!!! Laurie, on the other hand...They also beat 3" wedgies--congrats are well deserved--but I still prefer the 5-1/2" pumps. Not that it matters, of course. _________________ Hi-Heeled Boots, Bodysuits, and Back-Zipper Pants R wikkid-kool (on me, or U)! [ This Message was edited by: azraelle on 2002-06-06 00:16 ] "All that you can decide, is what to do with the time that is given you."--Gandalf, "Life is not tried, it is merely survived -If you're standing outside the fire."--Garth Brooks
IHeels Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 Congrat's Laurie! HEELS are POWER the HIGHER the BETTER.
IHeels Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 Number 750, made it. HEELS are POWER the HIGHER the BETTER.
alfheel Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 Number 750, made it. Still a very long way for me before getting into those incredibly nice pumps... But your achievement is a great motivation Congratulations !!!
Laurieheels Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 Way to go, Inga. Very nice shoes, they look good on you!
alfheel Posted June 12, 2002 Posted June 12, 2002 My turn to celebrate my way off those horrible loafers... Well the cowboy boots are not my cup of tea anyway, so I'll keep posting !
Firefox Posted June 12, 2002 Author Posted June 12, 2002 Yes, keep going; you get lots of promotions at the start. I'm stuck with these Oxfords for 500 posts!
alfheel Posted June 12, 2002 Posted June 12, 2002 Well... I feel sorry for your being stuck in those, this must be such a torture (Hope I'll get in step in those one day...) Thanx for the encouragement !
ShockQueen Posted June 12, 2002 Posted June 12, 2002 I checked the rankings board, and there is no mention of another style for 1500 posts. What are you referring to, Firefox? Do tell! SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
azraelle Posted June 13, 2002 Posted June 13, 2002 AHHHHHH! These boots feel so much better! To Francis: I am dying to know what Qapla' means, what language it is, and the significance of your rotating logo. I apologize if you answered this sometime in Jan or Feb. Thanx, AJ _________________ Hi-Heeled Boots, Bodysuits, and Back-Zipper Pants R wikkid-kool (on me, or U)! [ This Message was edited by: azraelle on 2002-06-13 02:19 ] "All that you can decide, is what to do with the time that is given you."--Gandalf, "Life is not tried, it is merely survived -If you're standing outside the fire."--Garth Brooks
Laurieheels Posted June 13, 2002 Posted June 13, 2002 Way to go, Azraelle. They look good! Very nice. Feel proud!
ShockQueen Posted June 13, 2002 Posted June 13, 2002 Hi Azraelle....I think I know (sounding like a giggling school person). I believe Qa'Pla means "good luck" or "best wishes". The rotating symbol is actually a Klingon symbol, which is where the language comes from. (sorry if I beat ya to it, Francis ) SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
Francis Posted June 17, 2002 Posted June 17, 2002 Azraelle : the rotating symbol is indeed the icon for the Klingon Empire. "Qapla'" is used as a parting remark, but it's true meaning is "Success", again a Klingon word, but as Shockqueen has said it can also mean Good Luck or Best Wishes. Broadly it just wishes you success in anything you are doing BTW this is my 700th post, no new picture,no advancement in heel height, but significant nonetheless
Laurieheels Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 700 is a big deal, way to go, Francis! (insert strange Klingon word here)
Van Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 This should be my 50th posting ! Let's forget the cowboy boots and get into something a bit more exciting. I'm longing for a pair of reel heels ? How many more messages ?
Nikk Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 Yeee-haaa ! These cowboys boots are a bit better - never felt comfy in loafers. N
