jetheelsfan Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 I heard a report today that Payless Shoes has survived and has pulled itself out of the bankruptcy filed earlier this year. I hope things continue to be positive for the business. 1 Just a bit higher to to delight - low enough for healthy foot comfort and great beginning.
maninpumps Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Great to hear some people's jobs were saved ! 1
SF Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 A little downsizing can be a good thing. I heart Payless!!!! sf 1 "Why should girls have all the fun!!"
jeremy1986 Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 That's great news - love their range and prices are generally good too! 1
JeffB Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Good news indeed! Not many places that sell women's shoes in size 13. I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
Steve63130 Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I'm happy to hear that news, and I'm glad to report I've been doing my share. In addition to their "Carla Snip-Toe Flats" I also recently bought their kitten heeled "Logan Hooded Low-Heeled Sandals." I haven't broken in the latter yet, but the former I've worn out in public twice since getting them last Tuesday. As others have remarked on here, flats can be fun! Steve 1
RonC Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Glad to hear they survived, but unfortunately, my favorite Payless store did not. It was one where the women's size 12 ailse was not visible from the storefront, and the clerks all knew where I was headed when I came in. I will miss that store - it was so comfortable for me trying stuff on there.
