ilikekicks Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Anyone interested at all? Im liking the U.S. womens performance thus far. I dont think the U.S. men will do well at all. REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
Rockpup Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Watched ski jump, but that's been the only event on while in front of a TV. I usually like Luge (formerly known as "JimC")
meganiwish Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I think the snowboarding is fabulous. It's like Bill and Ted's Excellent Olympic Adventure. Gnarly. I like the curling too. The Scottish girls are going to take that one.
JeffB Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Curling is fascinating. Don't understand a bit of it, but it's fascinating. I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
Bubba136 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Not much interest around here! Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
meganiwish Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Every event is an answer to the question,'Whats the most boneheaded thing we could do here?' I know, let's ski off a cliff. I love it.

SF Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 i stopped watching a long time ago…... "Why should girls have all the fun!!"
meganiwish Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 You missed some wonderful stuff. I liked the photo finish in the ski cross where three tangles of arms and legs went across the line together http://mashable.com/2014/02/20/mens-ski-cross-just-had-the-funniest-photo-finish-ever-in-sochi/
Dr. Shoe Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I was watching a documentary about Dick Turpin and Kev said "I know, there's a program about paint drying on the other side!" I replied: "Yeah, it's called the Winter Olympics.". Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Heelster Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Anyone interested at all? Im liking the U.S. womens performance thus far. I dont think the U.S. men will do well at all.Rather unusual, but I missed it all this year. There are a lot of winter sports I like to watch, but with limited crappy TV reception, and my mothers house to sort through, we just haven't bothered with it. Hell, I just realized I missed Datona 500 too although I prefer Indy car and SCCA classes better.
