newheeler
The other day i was listening to music while had my heels on, what i realized since i didn't hear the clicks of the heels i also wasn't anxious about them, felt more confident wearing them (outside in the evening) what if this could be used during day time heeling. I know a song that would probably match the idea really well. (probably musicians here will either nod or offer other songs as well). So the song would be Queen - Don't stop me now. In case someone doesn't know this song, link: So just put on your favorite mp3 player with your song and go go go! Of course daytime at a rather crowded area But this already made me cuirous which song would you use to ecouragement like this? Don't worry, be happy - in heels! Rockpup
Not sure which song I'd use, but I'll admit the idea makes sense. The music helps to distract you so you do not over think the fact you are simply walking, and wearing footwear. Will have to think of which song I'd use. Shafted
My favorite tune that I consider heeling music is "Push It" by Garbage. Shafted, the boots that is! ilikekicks
" Magic Power " by Triumph. I LOVE performing it live and have been known to push aside a frontman and sing it myself . REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
dww
I agree "Don't stop me now" one of my all time favorite records, nobody can or ever will be able to sing like our Freddie. life is not a rehearsal
Jinx
Personally it really depends on the mood, there is no single song that could always ring my bell... My type of music comes from guys like Lamb of God, Children of Bodom, Volbeat, Dream Theater, Sonata Arctica... and Infected Mushroom and The Prodigy type of stuff... and sometimes Wagner, Vivaldi or Sibelius... and anything between. My music taste is really wide and it really can be anything depending simply on the mood. But for the topic as a perfect heeling song, ZZ TOP - Sharp Dressed Man. Marion
Haha, reminds me something fun I did once : I put headphones on and I went heeled to make some shopping down town. But I had no music playing in my headphones so I could hear a few people commenting quite loud as they supposed I couldn't hear them because I was listening to music :-) Not too much negative comments in fact, I thought it would have been worse. Shafted
That's devious, I love it! I might have to try that one myself for ^%$#@ and giggles. Shafted, the boots that is! gallux
But why would anyone want to just forget about the heels while wearing them? It is just the best part! And the sound of the clicking is 50% of the pleasure.
Gudulitooo
The last Muse and some older ones from them, mixed with a few AC/DC Highway to hell / Hells Bells / Thunderstruck, a few tracks of Natasha St Pier (Mourir Demain), and "In the end" from Linkin Park. All very melodious, aren't they ? And of course the MP3 player in "repeat all" mode. Marion : very good.
Curt
Any heart song would be cool. Maybe kick it out would be a good choice when you're strutting in heels in the mall. Anybody see any heart videos from the 70s? Ann wilson would wear 5" heels for a whole concert! Just amazing!

Mr. X
nobody can or ever will be able to sing like our Freddie. If that is a challenge, then I accept....lol But seriously. Check out the band Foxy Shaxam. They are definitely a new age Queen. And you can see the influence big time! The singer sounds a lot like Freddie, and even looks a little like him too! And their live shows are suppose to be something else! Here are some good examples. Holy touch And this one is my personal fave! It is an upbeat rocker with a good groove. Fat Bottom Girls comes to mind with this one! I Like It [media=]http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rz4I69mQMo
leyland1
Nancy Sinatra - These Boots were made for walking, but I love dancing to anything with a good baseline when I'm in heels!
