But for $1000? Think of how many different pair of nice high heels you could buy for that amount of money. Must pass.

Amanda
They do look very nice but not being a platform fan, I prefer the more simple clean lines of Loubs "Declic" pump. I never failed to get what I wanted from any meeting I've worn them to. By the way, there's no need to pay $1000 for your Alti pumps: http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/33442 Watch out though, shoes are moving fast in that sale! HappyFeat
Wow, those are gorgeous shoes! I would love a pair of Loubs one day myself, but I tend to go for nice, but lower end shoes myself. There is a design show that I watch called "Design on a Dime" where people find high end items and then recreate them for much less money. For example, I have a pair of shoes from Bakers that look a whole lot like those. Now they don't have the red sole and are obviously a cheap imitation, but the style is very much the same. As for where to wear them...Jonnieheel is absolutely right...you wear them anywhere you want! Frankly in my neck of the woods, there really isn't much place for a woman to wear her $1000 heels anyway... I also agree with Amanda Snake on her point of buying Loubs in a more classic look. Though I do live the round toe and platform of the "Alti" pumps, a classic pump would remain in style and be much more functional for $1000, thus helping to rationalize your purchase. Style is built from the ground up!
Dawn HH
I myself would rather like to amortize that $1000.00 cost over a bunch of look-a-likes in different colors for different outfits. I doubt that I will ever have a pair of Loubs. I am satisfied with the lower end shoes. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!

morpho
I can say that you definatelly have a good taste, but......talking about the price let me say the following no offense.... I thought one day that wearing lady's shoes was insane....but wearing those 1000 usd pumps should be ridiculously insane. prefer to quit. Unless you are the king or prince of some country. cheers V. w6ish
i think they are beautiful shoes but at a thousand bucks?!!! i'd be afraid to wear them out of the house! if you scuffed them up on your first outing imagine how that would make you feel... at least with the styles i wear now, the replacement cost isn't going to send me to the poor house!
