sorry if the list was a bit long, but it was asked for

  2. you could always try utilising a full length mirrow if you have one  I know you may feel a little insecure about the thought of posting your face on the forum, but that's what this thread's about. I thought like you once, but that's changed. I'm sure everyone else could say the same thing. Don't be nervous, we're not going to criticise you for how you look. I'll be posting a recent 'out and about' picture of me soon, as I'm off to another party, but I have to drag the unwitting recipient out of his house for an hour or two while his kids sort out the decorations and food  Good excuses for carrying my camera around

  3. The ideal heel height is what you can comfortably walk in without causing distress to your feet. In my case between 3" and 4", any higher and I reduce the length of time that I can wear them to a few hours.

  4. The only problem I had with ME was it not booting up InCD properly, which I rectified by altering the installation order. I would use XP, but it refused to see my WinTV card. Drivers now exist for this, but I'll stick with ME for now. Less headaches for the moment. I shall most likely install XP when I get a cpu of 1.5Ghz or above. It might be worth it then

  5. might as well face it you're addicted to heels! thought I'd get that one in before someone else did  I find that my 3" feel like I'm wearing flats. In fact I was playing football in my old 3" heels yesterday. Flat shoes now tend to cause discomfort if worn for too long these days and I only feel like I've got heels on when wearing 4" or above. As for addiction, I don't wear my heels because I can't live without them, I wear them because I want to. I still wear flats for certain jobs, like kicking down sheds and chopping wood (yes! my shoulder's a lot better now ) If you keep going higher and they start to feel like flats, then you'll be disappointed when you're walking on tiptoes and it don't feel any different. Where do you go from there?

  6. It's nice to see older vehicles on the roads as it shows that some people are preserving a small slice of heritage transport. I shall be attending a rally soon called Cavalcade. It's a local rally, but attracts large numbers of traction engines, buses, steam driven wagons and, even, steam driven fairgrounds! The beer flows, everyone has fun and, if the weather turns bad, we all get muddy! All part of the fun!
