  1. Yes Fox, but the mental and emotional harm generally have some sort of physical manifestation, even if it is something as simple as insomnia. So that is why I didn't break it down further. The brain is a part of the body, and the mental and emotional harm targets that most important part of ourselves, and thus it becomes physical harm. I should have explained my viewpoint, but I thought I was long winded enough in that message.

  2. I would like to add, if I may, that we really feel we have a greater sense of community when we all have a name and an icon. We are people who share a common interest, even if there are many areas to it. I like that sense of community and I would urge anyone who has always felt that registering was not worth it to do so, and to give yuorself a name and a proper voice in our community. We're only looking for acceptance, and you know that we will accept you. No one here is judged for liking heels, in fact, we're all understood just a bit more because of it.

  3. Okay, now, yes I was at Walmart, in the cards section, and usually around the greeting cards there are posters aimed at kids. And on the front of the poster rack was a large picture of those Olsen Twins. They were wearing some nice shoes. They both had on the same style, a three inch sculpted stiletto heel, slingback sandal, with about five straps close set over the vamp, open toes. Now, if they are to be role models for the young people, then having them in these shoes on a poster is going to be better for everyone involved on this site, certainly.

  4. The place is work. The sights are obvious. Since Autumn is arriving, I am seeing more heels at work. Yes, the boots are back, and that trend from last winter is here. A good many three inch bladed boots, and some tapered blades, maybe we can call them rapiers or something. Of course, I have my stiletto ankle boots, I think they look much nicer. But thinner heels, higher heels, and pointier toes are springing up a bit more. I have the reputation, obviously, and the other girls are coming out to compete. Not that they can win any fight with me for that title.

  5. For work, it was a low cut black tank top with lace to cover the shoulders, black polyelastine pants, a very nice PVC jacket over that, and my four and a quarter inch stiletto ankle boots. It served well going out for a few drinks with my sister and her friends from work as well. Zany power company employees that they are.

  6. Time to admit it, I have always wondered about doing it. I won't, because it will draw the wrong kind of attention, and it is difficult to match... Howeverm one hallowe'en I saw this, a woman wearing four inch pumps, one black and one white, and she had her colours alternating like that through her clothes, everything was half black and half white, back and forth from left to right in each piece she wore. It stood out as much as my ultra goth witch outfit.

  7. Happy birthday, Stellah! I wish I remembered the words to the Danish birthday song, it sounds pretty cool even though I don't understand what half of it means... It would go like this, sort of... (in english) Today is Stellah's birth-day, hurrah hurrah hurrah! But after that I keep forgetting. It's only 6am here and I am NOT calling my mother to find out the rest of the words. Happy birthday, 25 is a fun age!

  8. Stellah that is too true! Envy often leads to hostility. Friends don't have that problem, but strangers can. I know a lot of girls at work wish they could wear heels, and they could if they tried it out and trained for it, but they're nice to me about it, they don't have that stranger's envy and negativity. It is like someone not knowing you and being jealous thinks there is permission to be mean about it. That's sad, strangers should be ultra polite instead!

  9. I am not trying to follow this one, but all I can say is this. People should be free to be themselves so long as no harm is done to others, and by this, I generally mean physical harm. We all need to express ourselves. And if a person has had a problem with something then I think it should be addressed. Not so much to say men in heels are bad or wrong, but so we know that some people out there have some emotional conflicts, and we can all work towards making this act of equality something more acceptable and free of violence.

  10. I lost that picture when I needed to reformat, but I am sure we can find it somewhere out there... the heel on those is a bit lower, only five inch. I own the white pumps with the higher heel and the ankle straps.

    I walk faster, yes.

I hope you have better luck finding an available guy in the future. From what I've seen in another post, you are blessed with physical beauty. Now all you need to do is find someone who is compatible with your personality (and is filthy rich  ).

Luck? I had that over the weekend, thanks.

  11. Short slinky black skirt, a red tank top that accents my average endowment, my short sleeved black dressy jacket, bare legs, and five inch black patent stiletto pumps. I should have brought a sweater, the walk home was COLD!

  12. If Hawking admires women in heels, I think that proves something about the relation between heels and intelligence. There has to be something. And yes, I admit, the brain is the most important thing for writing. I mean, a thousand monkyes on a thousand typewriters for a thousand hours are not going to put together what I can in five minutes, right?
