It looks like they don't have anything for me, even if I were willing to spend that kind of money for something I couldn't try on first. However, the custom shaft circumference and height sounds like something I could use.

I see loads of runners and dog walkers along the towpath. Few in boots, none in heels

I know that if it weren't for heels, I wouldn't get nearly as much exercise. 'Cause who wants to walk around my neighborhood in athletic shoes? How boring! Lots of people, evidently. They have no idea what they're missing. At this time of year, when it's below freezing, there are very few of us out. I run into two types: Hard core runners, those are often college kids, and hard core dog walkers. I will not be walking today, as it has snowed 6 inches overnight, and it is still snowing. No fun to walk in at all, much less in heels.

Their UK to EU sizing is suspect. They say EU43=UK10 whereas the usual conversion is UK9. I've had a pair of Duo boots for number of years. About 2.75" heel. At the time their biggest size was UK8 so they're bit small on my UK9 feet but OK with very thin socks. Nicely made, good leather. Duo used to have a lovely shop in Bath. My wife bought a pair of flat boots from there a few years ago. Again they are nice. Duo went though some kind of reconstruction a few years ago. Possibly a liquidation and buyout. They then became online only.

Yes, they've popped up on my Instagram feed. I like them too - if only they could expand their size range a little. I would certainly be a customer!'

My very first day in heels - four inch stiletto knee boots - I thoughtlessly bent over to pick up a flyer somebody had slipped though the mail slot in the front door. I completely forgot to take into account the fact that I was in lofty stilettos and bent over as I usually would and nearly face-planted! Lesson learned!
