Guest Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Just to return back to my original post in January a comment I omitted to include was why do we have odd sized feet + a quarter difference is a real annoyance. Al
Hiline Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I'm happy with my UK8's. They look about right with me being 5"8
dww Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Luckly I am a uk size 7, and have no problems and also 5 foot 8 tall. life is not a rehearsal
mingo Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I hava a UK 7, European 41, so I consider myselve happy. I can go shopping in town.
cjluve Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Sort of in two minds here... I love the look of the 4"-5" stiletto heel I am required to purchase to get a size 15 women's shoe... But... it would be nice to wear the variety of women's shoe styles available with a size 10 or less foot. i agree so much size15 or 16 in womens
dimfoy Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Size 14 here and wide, so that limits some of my options as far as styles are concerned.
jazzymj Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Size 14 here and wide, so that limits some of my options as far as styles are concerned. Same here. I wish I could find some 6" wedges in size 13 or 14. -MJ
alterego Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I am fortunate enough to have been bleesed with small feet. I wear a 8.0 in heels, which makes it very easy for me to able to shop for, and find heels that I want in my size at any store. It does however, as mentioned before, provide a cash draining situation. I have over 65 pairs of heels... so you can see what I mean.
BobHH Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 To jazzymj: Karo makes wedges of 5 inches and up, with platforms from 1 inch to a couple of inches, up to size 14. You can find them on the Internet at BeverlyHeels, models 0948, 3221, 3222, 924, 925. The 925s are advertised as 4.5", but mine in size 13 are 5.5" at the back. They are not cheap, though. I'd completely forgotten about Karo. Those are expensive but they will be fun next spring. Does anyone have experience with their shoes are they well made? -MJ
jmc Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I'm fine with the size of my feet It's the really nice shoes that are too small!! ;-( Have a happy time!
danielp6406 Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 I am OK with my size (US 11 or EU41) but wish I could wear women's size 10. Many shoe stores don't go up to women's size 11...
BobHH Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Karo shoes: Yes, they seem to be at least as well made as other brands. They claim to be made in the USA. Forgot to mention that the wedges are fairly generous in width and have wide soles, making them quite stable on uneven ground. Karos tend to fit me better than Pleaser, for instance.
miltboot Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Having a larger footprint definately makes most of the "boutique" boots off limits. That's sad, because there are some really nice styles out there. (I'm a US mens 13, by the way) Oh well.
pr8215 Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Oh how I wish my feet were just a little smaller. I'm a womens 13. I am so envious of those of you that can shop for shoes anywhere. There are so many beautful shoes that just aren't available over size 10/11.
boots_1000 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I wear size 10 women boots, so I like my size. Usually this opens up to many of the new fashions that comes out each fall. However, I am limited down to how many boots I can hide around the house without the wife discovering. Also whenever I speak with a customer agent, I usually get away by saying I am buying the boots for the wifey.
danielp6406 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 ... I am limited down to how many boots I can hide around the house without the wife discovering... Do you intend to tell your wife ? Maybe it would be better to tell her instead of her discovering one of these boots...
boots_1000 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Do you intend to tell your wife ? Maybe it would be better to tell her instead of her discovering one of these boots... Yeah I know what you mean, but I don't think she is ready to know yet. We been married for one year and I don't want this to strain our relationship. Aside from that, she's not the curious type to rummage through my things anyways. So if ever there is a day she discovers them, I can either try making up something or be upfront about it to see how she takes it.
danielp6406 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 ...So if ever there is a day she discovers them, I can either try making up something or be upfront about it to see how she takes it. I see. I hope you will make the best decision. May I suggest you to read this thread > http://www.hhplace.org/guys/11494-does_your_wife_so.html

stillettoAl Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I just wish my feet were one size smaller and regular instead of wide. I'm really a 10 wide, but usually wear an 11 I have one pair of 10 regular and they're my favorite shoes, but they're tight and hurt after more than a half hour of wearing them. I'd be happy with a 10M but a 9M would be my dream, that would open up pretty much everything:smile:
Cross123 Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Well, I have to say I'm fine with my size - I'm a EU 41 (which is US women's 10 or something close to this).
heelsinmass Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 well i have to say i would like to be a 1/2 size smaller, that would put me in a 9 1/2. but i would rather just my instep was not so big, thats what keeps me out of alot of shoes:sad:
point808 Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I'm currently a size uk 11 and the only shoes i find available to me are usually dancers " stripper" shoes and the more slutty other types of fetish heel. These of course can only be ordered from online stores or "specialist" stores I would love to be a uk size 7 or 8 and have the wide range of cute heels that are available on the high street.
kfsteve391 Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I wear a size 10 in women's shoes. I found a shoe store in an Hispanic area of Phoenix, Az that has women's shoes through size 10. They have many pairs for $2.99 a pair. The most expensive ones are $9.99. The ones in my avitar I paid $7.99. Have 12 pairs of strappy high heel sandals. Heel height is 3 to 5.5 inches.
high_55 Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 i voted a little bit smaller because though mi us size isn't that big 10 to 10,5 i happen to be short 5' 4 1/2", so a size or two smaller wouldn't hurt, besides locally it isn't that simple to find shoes my size, few shoe stores have them in stock, so sometimes if the shoe is worth dying i have to do with a half a size smaller.
skirtsnhose Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I wear a size 10 US women's shoe, which is perfect for me at 5'10". My feet are not outsized for my height, and size 10 is still in the standard size range, so I have the full complement of options for gorgeous shoes, cute shoes, sexy shoes, classy shoes, the whole nine yards. I can walk into any shoe store and know that they'll have something I love in my size. It's a great feeling!
Prutske255 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I wish my feet were a litte bit smaller , but i have to sell a lot of high heels then . That's another problem . I have to build a new collection .
sandalcrazy27 Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 I think 8.5 would ve a perfect size and i could wear any and everything. I hope that my wife asks me if i'm giong to wear those 4 inch leg wrap sandals that i bought from NIKE. Just a wish for the men in the world like us.
