shrimper
The wood platforms with the lucite wedges have been spotted on the feet of such as JLo, Beyonce, etc. They're a curiosity. I just don't consider platforms of any kind to be sexy. One man's opinion.
dr1819
It bothers me that a beautiful animal like a python is killed to make shoes that only a narcisistic celebrity is likely to wear, and only once. Painter I'm with you. Let's slaughter the cattle and wear their hides on our feet incessantly, as, at the very least, there's a plan to replace them! No offense intended - just putting things into perspective...
Shafted
I don't know about you dr1819, but I'd wear a farm raised snake on my feet any day. As I said in earlier postings there is no ethical difference between utilizing domestic farmed animals and exotic farmed animals. Shafted, the boots that is! asdf174
Those pumps are kind of asian stylish to me. Like I can see someone wearign them with a chinese style dress or something. It's all good. ~Arron.

ShockQueen
Anyone here wanna fiddle with these shoes: Pretty wild to say the least! Opinions, anyone? Those I would call "dare shoes" - designed to test a person's nerve during their first outing street-heeling. They get all buckled up and then as they go down the street, it's way more troubling to take them off than to just brave it and find out that........... Gee...it really IS easy to street-heel! Bubba136
Those shoes (pumps) are quite nice by themselves. However, it's the buckles that make them outlandish! Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

Dawn HH
Now those really are quite different, aren't they. You may not even see a lady wear them on the street, much less a guy. They put me in mind of a more of a bedroom type of shoe or a pair that a guy could really have fun with wearing them up and down stairs and around the house. ShockQueen
I saw a video of someone walking in those that has never had any training, and she was prancing around like a pro! I can't figure out how people manage to maintain their balance while going around in ballets. My hat's off to them though. SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge! Ionic
I've seen a short video clip too. To do it successfully they needed to have that full ankle flexibility to 'go over' as I think ballet dancers call it. ...and have the ankle strength too, which a regular wearer of 4.5" stilettos would probably have sufficient for a short demonstration. Why do the gals seem to have more natural flexibility there, that's always puzzled me? /I /I

JeffB
Try these on for size, folks! From Sexy Shoes, five inch heeled boots in black or red with mesh sides! They're supposed to be available around the end of this month and will sell for $69.95. Boots like those beg to be worn with off-black pantyhose and a short skirt to show off one's legs and the mesh! Anyone out there that brave? I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
Ionic
if anything is giving me vertigo, it's the ones above ~ I think it's caused by the kind of Moiree pattern created by the mesh... /I
JeffB
if anything is giving me vertigo, it's the ones above ~ I think it's caused by the kind of Moiree pattern created by the mesh... Yeah, that mesh can have a sort of disorienting effect on the eyes. But that doesn't take away from how gorgeous they are! I've never seen anything quite like those before! JeffB
White hose JeffB, will really make those mesh shafts pop. Hmm! Upon further review, I agree with you there, Shafted! Off-black wouldn't make the mesh stand out nearly as much as white. Like I said earlier, a skirt would be essential with boots like those! Dawn HH
JeffB:-) A pair of 5" heels and mesh shafts? Now, THAT IS different. Maybe someone will buy a pair and let us all know all the details. I don't think that you could get away with a pair of those in the office, but might match your leather skirt to form another picture session. And since they have a 5" heel, they just might be up your alley. What do you think, my friend? Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever! Dawn HH
JeffB:-) No-no Jeff. Don't even consider bidding on those.
