Not much has happen, but this was something I hadn't  happen in over 10 years.

But first:  I wore my Impo black small heels boots on Wednesday. 4.25 heels, .4 in platforms. Exiting a Safeway (grocery) store with a bag of food, a woman shouted "I love your boots" (nothing new) then shouted "Damn, you can real rock those boots."

Then yesterday, I started the day out in my Jessica Simpson knee high stilettos (5", 1" platform). Then I had to changing into flat boots. I used my snow/ hiking boots from Eddie Bauer. Hadn't worn them since 2015 when I tore my calf. I was part of a tour of a new building still under construction so closed-toe boots with thick soles was required. The woman that organized the tour told me she was wondering (worried) what I would wear since she had only ever seen me in high heels. After the tour most of the people walked to the entrance area, I parked close by, so as we pass my car I pulled out my knee highs to confirm I still wear them. A good laugh by all, especially from the woman who organized the tour.

All hands meeting today. After the meeting I was walking to a breakout session and a friend (unofficial high heel club member) was stopped by two woman and was talking about how she can walk in heels (4 inch stilettos today). As we walked pass the group, my friend pointed out my 4 inch heels and my fingernails and toenails to the two women she was talking to. She also has exquisite nails.

This "club member" is the same one that organized the tour in the post above.

Another all hands meeting today. While walking to a meeting, a woman stopped me to show me her "fancy" heels. She wanted to take a picture with our heels together. Also had several conversations about heels with women between breaks.

They were white wedges with a holographic vamp but only a 3 inch heel. Not fancy to me, but to her they were.

I just hope they fit. I'll write more once I get them. One feature I really like is a full inside zipper.

Well they finally came. Great heel, loved the color, BUT they were slightly too tight at the toe box.  The problem is that they are pointed toe heels and my feet aren't.  I could get my my foot in, but it was just too tight and since they are synthetic I didn't think it would stretch.

I had got these for many reason.

I love the color. I now have several in this color range.

I want a boot that I could wear when it rained. I have no desire to damage my leather or suede heels, so being synthetic was a plus.  I wanted a slouch style bootie, and I have been looking for some time. This also had a feature, a full length zipper, that I wanted.  And the heel was decent as well.

The search goes on .........................

I had promise to do several stories from my early November trip.

On the first day of the convention, there was not my heels worn, only me and a few others. However the current leader, was in tall stiletto pumps, her normal ware. Although, many women talked to me about heels.

However, on the second day there was many 3 inch heels and a number of 4 inch heels.

And the third day a lot of heels.

I also saw heels (high stilettos) at the up scale restaurants I had dinner at.

===

I just returned from a Thanksgiving trot.  Only saw a few heels at each airport, BUT, and @pebblesf might be extra interested in this, I saw a flight attendant is 3 inch heels coming off a plane.

Today at another airport I saw a flight attendant crew from Southwest where 2 women had at least 3 inch heels, one had a 2 inch heel, while the 4th had flats. Very unusual for a non-Asian airline flight attendant crew. I have stayed at hotels where about 90% of the female flight attendants from an Asian airline were in heels; that's where there are 24+ flight attendants (for the 16+ hour trip).

Indeed! Nice to hear heels are still being worn somewhere. Not so much in rural Lancashire although I was surprised the other day when I walked into town to see a woman walking her dog and wearing some very nice black leather knee boots with 3.5” chunky heels. Definitely the highest heels I’ve seen worn in town in the year or so I’ve been up this way
