Caused quite a stir in Santa Fe with my boots

I was in Santa Fe Friday, wearing my Frye Jenny over the knee boots.  I couldn't walk into any store or more than a few hundred feet around the plaza without being stopped by women (and a few men) wanting to know where to get them.  They aren't being sold anymore except on ebay and a few outlet/thrift shops.  Santa Fe being what it is I didn't expect I'd be much attention but I was (in a good way of course).  I had a good time there  even walking a lot in the heels.  I try to go there several times a year just to shop and enjoy the atmosphere and food.

Very nice boots! Kudos for “going public” with them. And aside from footwear - Santa Fe is a great place to visit, I like the surrounding area as well. Used to go about once a year when we lived in AZ, but haven’t been for many years since moving to the NW.

Dark blue skinny jeans, red/grey//black plaid shirt, and ivory sheepskin (fluff towards outside) vest.

It sounds like the sort of look that would go far towards regularising the appearance of guys in tall boots, especially in a western setting such as Santa Fe
