SexyToesToo Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I have "appropriate" footwear for working in an office. But every blue moon I like to wear my favourite platform peep toe pumps with a 5 1/2" heel. How high do you dare wear to the office? 7
Amanda Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 When I do have to visit an office it's usually for the purpose of meeting with people I don't know. In which case I tend to like to stand taller than others if I can. 1
Louise28 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Hello SexyToesToo, (thanks for the friend request btw) 5 inches with no platform is about the limit for me , on the rare occasions I wear heels with a platform I can go a little higher :-) Louise x 1
Amanda Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Louise, you are still here :-) Nice to see you. I hope all is well with you x
Louise28 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 hey Amanda, yes I popped back just to see if anyone was around, glad you are about still! you were offline for a while when I visited last x
Roxanne Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I always wear heels to work (at least 5"). People can hear me coming from miles away I enjoy the extra height given that I am 5'10" - I enjoy having the guys look up to me. 3
AbbyBoots Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Hi All I usually wear 5 inch no platroem or 6 inch with a platform no higher to the office on the infrequent occasions that i have to be there. Regards Abby 2
Dancer Girl Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 My everyday office attire would include a 4 or 4.5" heel. The odd day a classic 5" heel but nothing too thin as my overall office is fairly conservative. I am just a shade over 5.6" so this still leaves me at an eye to eye level with most of my male colleagues and clients.
dianiheels Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I regularly wear 4" - 5" heels, no platform ... all day long ... I'm 5'4" and those heels really helped to gain some height 2
kirstiethompson Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Don't wear platforms to work, so highest is 4 3/4 inch pumps - and thats as vertical as my feet can go (still comfy though - wear them all day) 1
alicia Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 4 to 5 " for me usually with tall boots 1 Boot me up, Boot me down
MollyFabs Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 For the office I also usually wear 4 inch heels, but on some rare occasions I can put my favorite 6 inch platform heels)) 1
EricaCrutche Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 My usual heel is 4" and sometimes 5. I recently purchased my first platforms and love them. I am able to wear only one shoe and use crutches full time. Contrary to what most people think I do very well on crutches and a heel, very smooth and graceful.

Dancer Girl Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Used to be no higher than a 4" heel but several times in the past year or two I have come into the office in 5" heels. 1
HeelsWearer Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I wear 6 inch heels to work with about a 2 inch platform. Slides or mules with nice padding in them. On my feet ALL day and find them comfy. 4

Jessika Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 I like to wear 4"-5" with a suit. I love the height and confidence 4
HeelsWearer Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Hi Tina, I like the hidden platforms that they have. Those are relatively new. Most shoes you could see where the platform ends and where the shoe part started. I am like you, 6 inch heel with a 2 inch platform! 5
Charlotte Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 (edited) My husband makes me where 6 inch to the office daily. (No platform) I work 3 days a week in the office and 2 from home so on the home days it is ballet boots or even higher with platform. If the shoes arnt patent leather or something else that screams sexy, very high heals can still be work appropriate. Edited September 9, 2017 by Charlotte 3
KatjaTheToy Posted May 28, 2018 Posted May 28, 2018 Depending on the day and mood, anything from flats to 7" heel with a platform... If I know I'm going to be alone for the day - small office, ha - in addition to some too-high-to-walk heels I sometimes wear full latex and then pretend I get work done instead of... you get the picture. 3

SexyToesToo Posted March 15, 2019 Author Posted March 15, 2019 Wow, you can wear these at the office? 2
Heike Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 (edited) As much as I love exotic heels, they're a no-go i the office. The professional business woman will stick with 2" to 3" heels, 4"absolute max, no platform, closed toe, no bright colors. On occasion, peep--toes may be okay. Regardless of choice, they must be comfortable enough to wear all day, and walk in them all day, without having to kick them off, or slip into flats (tacky!). Edited April 30, 2019 by Heike Forgot one point 5
diannega Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 I agree with Heike, I wear 3-4” heels to the office every day, never platforms and mostly black...lol! For me they are comfortable all day and my fav brands are nine west and guess which seem to work well with my feet. 1
