You know you buy too many shoes when...

... you get a hand-written card from DSW saying you're one of their best customers and letting you know about a special promotion coming up. :silly: Certainly a surprise! The hand-written part threw me, I had no idea why I would be getting something that a DSW manager wrote!

Yes Radiodave, Hand written thank you notes are nice!! I have gotten them twice. One was for an on-line purchase I made at Zappos. The other was from the gal who waited on me at a Marmi shoe store. At Marmi, I told the lady the shoes were for me and she was all smiles and said wonderful. I was looking at one particular style, but she brought out at least 3 other styles as well to try on. It was fun! I wound up buying the one style I was initially looking at. When the thank-you letter came in the mail, I was plesantly surprised.. And yes, I have gone back again! sf

Profligate! But where are these fortunate stores, just so I can get a sniff?
