  1. I'll have to work on that. The only photo I have is here, from a sales site. I have no photos of me wearing them. I'll want to comply with forum rules about interesting pictures. Perhaps it is another hurdle to overcome.

I hope I did this correctly.

The link worked fine. Those are very doable with a variety of options depending on how you want to present yourself.

  2. The quality of the Western Ranch boots is awesome. I especially like the care and precision in which they make the heels. When I took a pair I had a few years ago to the local cobbler for a new heel pad he couldn't get over how talented the makers of the boot were.

  3. Hmmmmmm.... They did work out well for the boots I wore them with that are a tight fit with regular 'guy' socks.. I was thinking of getting a couple pairs of the knee-highs to wear with these boots so that I'd get the best of both worlds. I went online and was astounded to see all the options available for guys as well as the gals. As for shaving my legs, I've done it once in the past and it does feel great but it's also a lot of work to keep up with. It's at these moments that I'm glad I'm a guy who's not expected to do this. As guys, we're allowed by society to be far lazier than the gals, but that could be changing.. Oh well.. when life deals us lemmons, make lemmonade! LOL Charlie

  4. Okay I'll admit something here.. The other day I had the wife buy a bunch of women's nylons because I wanted to cut the legs off and fill them with sodium chloride (i.e. driveway melt) and place them over the ice dams still left on my roof. They worked great btw! Anyway.. there were a few pairs left that I didn't use and on a whim the other morning I wore a pair under my jeans to work. I couldn't wait to take them off when I got home! I just didn't like the feeling of them under my pants and I don't wear skirts soooooooooo it looks like I can kill a few more ice dams.. LOL Charlie

  5. Heels and a skirt may never fly, but heels alone certainly can be done if you start reasonably and work your way up so-to-speak.

Try starting with a pair of these if you can get them in your size:

I have them in size 11 and the heel height is exactly 3". They have rather loud heels though.. I had my local cobbler put on rubber heel pads and now they're perfectly fine. It cost me about $15.00. Just wear them with long bootcut pants that cover the heels while you stand and say nothing. Nobody will notice a thing..

  6. Visited Rome recently. Always great to see what's being worn there on the streets.

    Right now high boots !

Lots and lots of them. Knee high and some OTK boots in browns and blacks, suede and leather, with and without tasteful platforms, both thick and stiletto heels, 4" and higher. Mostly very stylish.

    Gorgeous ! :-)

    Well then.... when in Rome...

  7. After spending an hour or so reading posts by open and courageous heelers, I was inspired to summon the strength to go out in public wearing heels. Not real high (3"), not very long (20 minutes), not very public (buying gas), and at night, but it was an exciting, if timid start. Thank you for posting.

Can you show us a picture of the shoes?

    Thanks!

  8. Personally, I prefer this one.

The purple shirt is definitely not the boring guys standard of white or blue, but is not too edgy as to be outside someone's comfort zone. The black boots and the skirt, especially with the jacket are just far too much black with the odd glimpse of lighter colour.

So far as shoes are concerned, the plain courts (pumps) haven't got too much fussy embellishment which otherwise complicates a plain, understated overall appearance.

If anything, I would make my entrance to your therapist's office dressed as the pic, carrying your black jacket over your arm. If you need to remove a pen and notebook, I would do this before the folding the jacket and setting it on a chair. Sometimes, I've seen hangers or coatstands in American offices for people who wish to do this (unlike the UK).

    Hey xaphod!

Glad to see you're still out and about! (Charlie from the old board btw...)

  9. What we want to avoid is the situation the website was in right before it almost died a death many years ago where it was nothing more than just CD/TV/TG's who were often over exposing themselves, and basically drove all the genuine mebers away...

A lot of members dont want to post on a high heels website that presents the image "All guys who wear heels want to dress as women"...

This is a high heels website, for everybody to enjoy, but its not a CD/TV themed website, and as such, we dont want cd/tv content here...

It is indeed a thin line to tread, but that line sits firmly at the point where "A person presenting themself AS the opposite sex/gender, is over the line. Simple as that.

All valid points I didn't consider. I'm one of the guys who only wears heels in male mode and have no interest in skirts or dresses, but I'm also not put off by anybody else who is into these things either. To each their own. All said and done, I asked a logical question and got a logical answer. Who can ask for more?

  10. I see this very thing in avatars all the time? Isn't that on the website? Besides.. had she only snapped the photos of him from the waist down, it would have been no different than dozens upon dozens of other photos I've seen here? Charlie
