I had a woman looking for heels for a wedding wanting to try the wedges I had on. I let her and later she told me she bought a pair and wore them to the wedding. I've had two others since then, others just had the wrong size feet.

My plane tickets are purchased, 2 weeks in UK in May/June.  Plan to get a rail pass and use it. Centered out of south-of-London, I plan to take day trips and maybe a 4-5 day trip.

In the summer when I have 4-6 inch shorts on there is no question I also have heels. In the winter time, like today, I don't think many notice the 4 inch heels I had on. But I did have two woman notice my nails today with one saying she's going to copy my color with the sparkles - just her style.

Bottom line, if you are out there in the public there is always the chance you will be noticed.  ENJOY IT.

I had that happen a number of times, you get your pair and two weeks later they are 50% off.  I use that as an opportunity to get a second pair if I really like the shoe, maybe a second color.

If I hadn't just bought plane tickets I might think about getting a pair of those oxies. I really like the color. And with a high arch, lace-ups are the best.

Just looked at the site again. I take a 41 and they are sold out.

If you want it to to stop then just ignore her. Don't react to it. I know it can be hard, but just don't react. Don't give them the satisfaction that they got to you. I have had female students try to distract me in a large lecture halls by sitting at eye level without their underwear. If you ignore them, they stop.

If you don't want it to stop then continue to react.

Getting compliments is very intoxicating, specially when you are just doing everyday activities. I got two for my fingernails the other night, one from a woman when she handed me my change and the other when I just held the door open for another woman and her child.

I too have been gifted many many ties. The last one was from my daughter several years ago, I asked her "WHY?" I normally only wear them when I have to. It has been at least a decade since I last wore one, but may have to next May in Jolly Old England.

I'm lucky that I can wear polish to work and not get hassled about it. I started to wear fingernail polish full-time last year at Halloween and liked it so much that I rarely have clear nails now. The trick is to have exquisite looking nails, nails to envy.  My nail artist gives me these nails every time.
