If you wore size 8 1/2, I'd just mail them to you. I think you'd totally dig them.

Thanks, I'm a size 10, too bad.  These Freebird Canti heels are among my favorites, have them in two colors. Their sound on hard surfaces is a reverberating sound that resonates. They announce your arrival.

I was still working in the leather, so I had so padding in above. One of the reasons I like them so much is they have a working adjustable strap in the front.  I was able to add an additional hole and they now work for me.  Here's the other color I have.

  2. My file keep getting merged so I will date them.

Nov. 1. The back of my Halloween costume I wore for 15 hours.

The boots I ordered from Forever 21 came. They were as described, I could put my foot into them but the girth of my ankle prevented me from zipping them up. Sadly, they will be returned on Monday. Oh well, all I can do is try, on to the next.

I went shopping this morning at Costco. While sampling some sausage, another customer noticed my nails and started asking me questions about them until she noticed my heels and started talking about them. Another couple passed by shopping hear the conversation about my heels and looked down at them. She said " I like your heels"  as she walked pass.

Thank you for these words of wisdom. I have started to realize that I feel really comfortable in heels, and am not really looking at them as women's shoes any more. They're "just" shoes... As such, my comfort level has gone up when wearing them out.

I switched to only women's shoes about a decade ago because of fit. And now I enjoy the benefits I get from 4 inch heels.  I don't hide the fact that I wear heels, rather I embrace it; I own it. Once you OWN IT, you walk with more confidence which boost your comfort level which gives your more confidence which ....

Looks like those booties have rear laces. Real or faux?

I'm of the opinion that if your whole outfit looks good together, it's actually less noticeable, despite the gender mismatch in the footwear.

I agree, I blend clothes from both sides of the store in my everyday wear. I rather wear what looks good and fits right than worry where in the store it came from.

Not just for Halloween,,,, looks great !!

Thanks @CAT , I knew you would like the skirt since it from one of yours (and now one of mine) favorite stores: EXPRESS. It took over two hours to get dressed and do my make-up.  I had many women tell me I looked better than they ever do or better than many women.    I'm just glad I don't have to do that every morning.

The jacket was a hit, got so many compliments it will be worn again even though it is fuchsia, it fits so well. I think if I use a black shirt and jeans it would look great with booties. So while not everyday wear, it will be used once here and there.

I love the skirt so I'm keeping it! I fits so well for a size 10, just  wish I could wear a skirt once in a while.

  6. My work Halloween costume worn from 6 am to 9 pm  The vegan leather skirt was warmer than I expected, even hot at times. Since it was a tight skirt, driving was different as well.

You can walk elegantly in 6" heels?   More Nancy Kerrigan + Natasha Poly power to you!

They have a 1.25 inch platform so its only a 4.75 inch effective heel, top end of my comfort zone.

Can I walk elegantly in 6" heels? - let's hope so. I have been looking for knee high stiletto boots with full zippers. My Speedlimit 98 wedges are pretty tall and I can almost jog in them.

No one seemed to take any notice, despite the obvious display.

Don't kid yourself people noticed, You just didn't notice them noticing you. I read the lips of a woman walking perpendicular to me the other day as she whispered "I love those heels" to her friend, but didn't say anything to me.

I imagine many women noticed your slim body, skinny legs and would then see your heels, but were too envious to say anything.
