Very helpful for sure, does make it easier for the planning of " first pair of the Louboutins" thank you for the information. Mtnsofheels

Well now that would mean one of the most dearest forms of affection we could get, for me anyways. I think it is the same way for girls almost. Really though it means that your gf/wife has figured you out enough to show the love for you! I am close but the GF still is afraid of the potential harm others would do to me, like the big bulleys.....and rednecks. Interesting thought, thanks for sharing. Mtnsofheels

Nice shoes, Mint Cyrus! and some nice music to go along too! Mtnsofheels

Hey stev55, Hope you are going out get those Louboutins and or Manolos you always wanted, at least see and try on those new fall choices, have fun! Mtnsofheels

I don't think these are my style, the only way I would wear them or have my GF wear them would be, if they are a stiletto heel and in the flavour of wine gums or gummy bears so I could chew them up. Or in a low fat/sugar combination. Speaking of which anybody found edible shoes? Mtnsofheels

I like the way heels look, look on me, feel and when worn the difference in how changes your Aura of self. Confidence or self esteem could many feeling it gives one while in them. Oh the other feeling it gives me is,"Living life to the fullest" , which that limit is now changing and wanting more......sigh.. Once I my GF had accepted me for that I have been wearing them when ever possible. Mtnsofheels

Interesting website for his store, he is marketing to the Goth crowd for sure, I am wondering if the guys in the Goth movement suffer from the same kinds of fears, phobia and or acceptance in their groups? I would think they could care less but one never knows. Any Goth folks on this site? Could you comment on that. You would think that if we had the Hockey or Rugby teams vouch for heeled shoes we would be set.....and never have to worry! Another question, are Goth platforms heavy? and how come so cheap? Mtnsofheels

Can't see the link either but hey if the word gets out inch at a time we should in 5"ers by the spring. But that is only by media types. Cowboy boots of a much higher heel have been out for a long time, with a tuff crowd so it is coming. Mtnsofheels

Hey Iloveboots, How are you? You need to be a sales rep for Jean Gaborit, which would come with a full store collection and storage facility! Just think, "JG & CD" LOL! Great collection! Envious, Mtnsofheels

Hey SArmeah, That is very coincidental, you put on what I was looking this morning. Aren't they awesome! those are so gorgeous, in fact the Luisaviaroma has so many great shoes and boots is could cause major financial strain, divorce and full on addiction. Those ones are so nice, however if anything this site also brings one back to reality with the price tag. But nothing like a good mid-day drool..... Mtnsofheels

Hi Daniel, In fact they just came in this afternoon, I am looking at them right now, and yes I did order them online. However when I opened them I noticed right away that the left shoe had a hole right near the toe cap. So I am in consultation with Steve Madden.com as what to do about them. Quite comfy and easy to walk in, kinda like a kick around sneaker, to the coffee shop on Saturday, waking the dog. Hope I can sort out the hole issue though. They seem to have a bunch of them too! Hey Mr. X, Nice choice of shoes, I like the pointy Black ones over the others. To me they look more like a classic pump. The beige one are nice as well but I like the dephillips. Do the Aldo shoes fit you? As Daniel was saying envious of the fit if they do. Mtnsofheels

Wow Cinnamon, Those legs of yours are stunning and the shoes are amazing! Very elegant hose by the way. Your man should be proud, of you and himself for getting those Laboutins for you. Great combination, you are a lucky girl! Mtnsofheels

Hey metalheel, Ok you got the fantasy in mud, I would imagine mud wrestling in thighhighs would be interesting but I think using a pair of "JimmyChoos Jump" would be only suited for those who had many pairs and $'s available. Cute Idea though. demoniaplatforms, now there is an idea, hip or chest waders with a high heel! Mind you a pair of latex thighhighs could qualify....... Mtnsofheels

I am a boot lover mostly, can wear boots year round in this part of Canada and do so, in the winter it can be almost not enough insulation for regular leather boots, with lots of snow and cold temps got dig out my shearling lined boots that helps. Summer can be hot as well, 35c/95F ish, that for a cooler climate guy is just to warm. I agree that with you YYZ, you adjust your body systems to be accepting of warmer temps or colder ones. I work outside year round so boots come naturally to me as the choice. With that said I do try to wear sandals and shoes just change and interest in doing so. Plus going on vacation to a tropical destination, boots and a speedo is a bit out there while on a white sand beach, oh the visual is not pretty...... Mtnsofheels

Well that truly is amazing Dr. Shoe, I agree more now than ever that your doctorate is in shoes. I could believe that having a storage facility for all those could a bit onerous. Cool and thanks for sharing that with us. Some women would be jealous I am sure! Mtnsofheels

Yes she is now, in the begining she was not as accepting as now. Being up front was the best thing I did as this what I was and it was not going to change because I accepted this as part of me. It took awhile for her to come around but she is now accepting. I think her worries were more for my safety versus what she really felt which was accepting. Although we have different sizes we may have the same style ordering in the future. Mtnsofheels

Good question and motivator to make me go count. Well it appears that I have more than I thought, dang.... 4 pairs of OTK's 3 are Hi heeled 7 pairs of knee highs 4 are Hi heeled 4 pairs of calf highs all are Hi heeled/wedges 6 pairs of booties 2 pair are Hi heeled rest are low heeled. 2 pairs on order and about 125 on the wish list.....dang... well the list will grow, it has too as there is to many not to buy. I am impressed pussyinboots, I mean that is a store you have! Awesome! Mtnsofheels
Do these qualify as streetheeling?
in For the guys
Posted
I said yes it does, because one persons normal heel might only be a flat sole so by going upto 2" it is a big change and can make a person feel like they are street heeling. The other view is going from a 1.75" heel to a 3 or 3.5" heel is a also a big change, enough to warrant a similar feeling about street heeling. So the long and the short of it is, if 2" makes one feel like it is streetheeling then it is street heeling. If do not feel like it is then it is normal heeling. I know when I started wearing shoe and boots I felt like I was street heeling by just having a pair knee high flat heeled boots on, cause it was outside the norm. Everyone has their own "Mt Everest" whether is is or not, but I think that is left to each person to decide their qualifying street heeling height. Good question, Mtnsofheels
