  1. Hi Puffer, I think the ease of deciding is based your comfort in public, starting with the least obvious is a way to start, once you are comfy then proceed to the next level, by then you will know what works for you. The BBLC is a good start. Each would have a different look with a different trouser, so finding the right combination might take a couple of tries. But to start the BBLC ones for my opinion. Benno, what boots are those you had worn on NYE? those are really nice? Best of luck Puffer, looking forward to hearing more about your heeling! Mtnsofheels

  2. Hi Onyourtoes,

Nice boots! The 20", where does that sit on your leg, at the knee or above?

How long did it take for you to get your boots made? Is there anything you would have differently if ordered another pair? The toe box, is there room enough?

    Thanks for sharing,

    Mtnsofheels

Yes, 20 inches. I can't say I'll be wearing them outside my pants much in public, but I'm sure I will occasionally. I certainly have done it with other tall boots in the past, though these do top any past cowboy boots I've owned.

  3. Hi Tightlevisandhhboots,

Nice boots, thanks for sharing the final results. What is the final height of the shaft of your boots? This is reviving my interest to get a pair of western boots, both yours and Onyourtoe's boots are really nice. Do you have rubber heels on them?

    Thanks again,

    Mtnsofheels

Well, I finally recieved my custom boots. Heel is just over 4 inches, not quite the 4.5 I had hoped for, but still ver nice!! He has a picture of them on his e-bay custom boot add, and I have taken a few and put in my album. Please let me know what you all think of them!

    Thanks,

  4. Hi all, Nice reflection of ones heeling purchases this year about to be past. Although I did not go wild I purchase about 4 pairs of high heels shoes and boots and 3 pairs of flat sandals. I most satisfied with my find of ShoesUSA that I purchased 2 pairs of boots that are really nicely made and comfy. I did not start out with a specific heel shopping plan for the year but did better than I expected with drop in my work. Hopefully next year will bring a few more pairs of shoes/boots and a lot more time wearing them. Cheers and a toast to 2009! Mtnsofheels

  5. I voted some time ago but did not reply to the post. I like them because how they make me feel, how they look the infinite styles which are available and much more fun to wear. I do not like mens shoes becuase thay are boring boring as many have mentioned. That is with most mens things in fashion and fit too, also they compliment what a person is wearing more than mens shoes. As you can tell I don't like suits! Plus my size is easily found, 11 womens it is not a huge foot, still petit compared with a size 11 mens. Plus finally I like them heels, in all sorts of shapes and sizes styles. Mtnsofheels

  6. Once in awhile I cut the fur on my feet, I am blessed with slow growing and light coloured hair so it is not a factor. But agreed that in does look way better without any hair on the toes. Mtnsofheels

  7. Clogs are fun, I have used a couple of pairs in the summer and more around the house. I too have a size 11 and am happy to find pairs online. I really liked a pair of Cordani which do not always come in size 11 but but are available sometimes. Will look at the other brands you mentioned Trickrider. They go well with jeans or Khakis for sure. Mules I am less a fan of but maybe Ihave not found the right ones yet. I'll keep looking! Mtnsofheels

  8. Congatulations Iamme ! Awesome story and most of all great job in telling the one that means the most to you about the honest you! The real You! Your story is a testament to being honest with yourself and then your partner and how much stress that relieves by just saying it and telling her all about you and your likes! Plus the hidden benefits of her accepting you and now sharing your interest for the both of you is huge gain for you. Thanks for sharing and great job, and envies to those that do not have that! 9. Hey Spikes! Thanks for sharing your adventure in pedicure. It is so much fun. I found that a full European Pedicure was so good for relaxing the tenseness in my feet from work stress I was sold on pedicures. In fact I get almost one a month-confirmed regular on these. Daniel, I too have had Bio-Gel French mani and pedi's which I really like, it still takes maintenance but well worth it. I total agree that is feels like a finishing touch and very clean by having those sessions done on a regular basis. I do not why it is not more accepted- and so worth while. I have a french Pedicure next week just in time for Hawaii at Christmas, looking forward to both of those! Have fun for the Christmas Holiday season and go get a Pedicure! Mtnsofheels

  10. Hello smapepito, Welcome to the HH Place. I agree that many folks like pointy HHeels, I do a selection, many with a roundish toe and a bigger/thicker heel but not blocky. Many types to choose from, your court shoes are like by many here. Hope you enjoy the site! Mtnsofheels
