  1. Hmm.. been wanting to tell my GF's sister, but GF is quite leery of me doing so as she says her sis would flip. Personally I hate not being honest but then it would rub the GF the wrong way too. Dem lemmons......I will do it at some at point and what are they gunna do fire me? But kidding aside my preference is to be open, just getting time to do so when all is ready for it. Then again maybe never if Gf does not want it. Mtnsofheels

  2. Steve, Yes and it is a good thing, just been home now for week so it will give me time to chiilax and catch up on some HH Place reading. Interest will never pass I just get times of no connection. Hope to post some pictures of new shoes and boots, speaking pictures that I am quite behind in getting some from new shoes and boots. Hopefully next week. Mtns

  3. Being a fan of wedge boot/booties/shoes and do like them all. Camilla Skovgaard has a great style with signature sole grips which a cool, however the $price$ is a bit much. Designers have a way of jacking up the price and getting it........ Similar to Rick Owens wedge boots too, very cool but $mega$.

  4. Thanks Meganiwish and Gudulitooo, That is a cool photo essay of many comfy people and willing to "switch". I am not too far from Vancouver and hope to drop by there this spring. Hana Pesut has done well with her photography and portrayal of present culture on the west coast of Canada. Thanks for hunting and finding the links Gudulitoo.

  5. Highheelboot, Another place to check crotch boots our is Jean Gaborit in France. I have as well as other here have purchased boots form them and they are great boots. They can be custom fit or if you are lucky off the shelf fit. Check the out here! http://www.jean-gaborit.com/en/ They produce many styles and sizes, you may find something that works for you!

  6. Thanks Platformman, Glad you posted your story and congratulations on getting back in to heeling. I saw those Jeffrey Campbell ones before too, I have lower pair I use with zipper on back which I wear, he has been getting some good boots recently. Keep on going with the heeling, thanks for sharing!

  7. Well recently I am a more sporadic patron here, as time goes on I have found less time and fewer places where I can get regular internet connections. My work has played a large role in that but as well it get hard to tell same things over and over when you come here less often too. But as mentioned and I know that without participation the motivation get less. It is all about saying and getting involved which really gets one inspireded to go heeling and talk about it as this place did for me a few years ago. Not that I have stopped heeling, I do more than ever but chatting about it can only help others get here too. So hopefully I can supply more postings and replies cause it does inspire. :nervous: Mtnsofheels

  8. I have a couple of pairs of clogs and 1 pair of heeled boots which are made from a wood platform which I do love. They are awesome to walk in very comfy too. Here is a link to my boots, they make many more too. http://www.shoesusa.com/Products/Nanette-Boot__NANETTE255.aspx When I bought mine they were in a 5.5 inch heel now only in a 4", Shoes USA make excellent shoes and boots, I have 4 pairs now and more on horizon. Plus custom sizes as well. Cheers!

  9. Hi JeffB,

I know what you mean, I have size 41 and am lucky to find many that do fit me.

I do of a place where they are available and look like feminine in some styles.

I'd love to have a pair of women's riding boots which look seriously cool, but I can't seem to find them in my size without extra wide calves which would look awful on me. But I keep looking anyway.

Check out the Gaborit site, look under "Boots for Guys" there is loads of awesome boots there, plus they can make boots from womens

style section in many styles in custom sizes too.

  10. Nice job Jimnj3, that is an awesome trip for you. I have worn a pair of Dr Marten 3"+ wedge boots on a flight to Iceland last year. Had a nice comment from one of the sercurity ladies "saying those are nice travel boots" to which my girlfriend said "yes he really likes his boots and they are very comfy" with that she smiled. The flight went really good too. I am doing that again this year. Mtnsofheels

  11. Well this is interesting timing and of course a good conversation.

I was rereading the thread and saw Pasty Cline's comment.

Check this link to the Christian Louboutin's website.

Humour is a great way to diffuse a bad situation. It's such a stupid thing to get offended by.

If the guy is wearing jeans most of the shoe is covered anyway.

What's a person going to do, start thinking every guy they walk by could be wearing lingerie under their suit?

It may be a bit odd at first, but as soon as more guys do it, then it won't be an issue.

When Christian Louboutin.starts making heels in size 44 & up, you'll know you have arrived.

Or maybe he comes out with a "Guys in Heels" collection.

Why should women be the only ones silly enough to pay $1000+ for a pair of his shoes?

He appears to have done just that, personally I still the Pigalle Botta 120mm or the Daf Booty 160mm.

On the Louboutin website the new spring selection is out too, I did a search for boots and found the mens boots.

Still a wee bit of coin for the boots....

  12. Hi Simcity, I have purchased 3 pairs from Shoes USA in North Hollywood, they do custom sizing and do stock larger sizes in many wedge soled items. I have found them to be excellent quality and nicely finished. Leathers are good and my orders took a month from time of ordering to receiving them in Canada. I would recommend them for sure. Prices are comparable to many or mid ranges found in places like Nordstroms. Here is there link. Hope you find something there! I have purchased the Nanette, Beka, and Jessica boots. Once you look at any of the shoes/boots many options come up including color, size and variations in heel/platforms. Have fun checking them out.! http://www.shoesusa.com/ Mtnsofheels

  13. I just found this thread again, corsets are a wonderful piece of attire which it takes awhile to get use them but certainly an addiction. I have worn corsets for several years, then I took a break and hoping to get back to them. Once you have worn them they are so lovely you'll want to have em on all the time. I doubt it will make an everyday kind item for men but we can only hope! The body can be trained! Mtnsofheels

  14. Hey Booted, I have had lots of French nails done, I have done with them with gel and regular nail polish. The regular last a week maybe, or you can go for weekend and take it off if when ever you wish. The gel lasts longer 2 weeks then you need fill ins and retouch, but in theory they could last a month or 2. Really depends on what you want to do. I would suggest a French with regular polish, try it out and then decide from there. With the nail tips you can get a creamy or off white which makes the nail less obvious. Sure people noticed, had some women ask if I have had my nails done, I said yes indeed, they said wow! Cool! I would do them all the time but it is hard when my work stuffs them into the ground. Colors attract more attention than a French would, also you learn to hide them or shall I say hold hands as to not make so obvious if you are nervous. I have noticed that women who get there nails done or wear nice shoes or attractive clothes do not look at anyone in the eye, this gives me the feeling they close themselves off to comments or looks which may come to them. So while I have my nail done in french, I do the same thing and it works, just go about business and do look for the comments. Hope you try it! I really like the French look. Mtnsofheels

  15. I do polish the fingers, although I have just gone with out a month or 2 which a first in years. I have been doing french on my fingers, love that look but a in light sensitive gel. It lasts so long it is wonderful. A friend of mine does them for me and she is so good with them, she is a couple hours away so it is not always easy to keep them up. ail envy is my main, I can do them and it keeps me on the maintenance program.

  16. Looking good Rock pup! Yes the pants you have shown look good, and yes various lengths for different shoes/boots. I have similar pants/jeans fitting over my boots. I have been keen on jeans made by 1921, they fit well and i like the looks of them. NYDJ have some good jeans as well, stretchy and high waisted. It seem the more shoes and boots I have the more jeans I get as well. Thanks for sharing info and photos. I need some pics too! Mtnsofheels

  17. Yes I have toe rings, love em and been wearing them for a year or son now. one on each foot but do have extras when I am in the sand and beach areas. Of course with a pedicure........ Thumb ring as well.... they are good too!
