Good fine Amanda, he is such an amazing man. Hmmm.. yup we need a men's line of heels for sure. He did do a 3" heeled boot 2 years ago in beige, but hard fine post season for them. Thanks again Amanda.

Thanks for the info on those boots freestyle75, I really like them, wow! I am going to check out for them, let me know when you get them. I am a 41 as well
so they would work. Hope your shopping goes well, enjoy!

Nice job Freestyle, good for you to go as you wanted to.
I think it would have looked really good. What are the boots you wore? Who makes them?
Great event for you to freestyle at.
Thanks for sharing!

Good find Eucrid, and nice guide. I do agree with all of statements pointed out above and also feel it is not all shoppers. I did notice that on the right side at the bottom
"Write a Guide" button, It would be perfect place to write a guide for men "How walk in High Heels", basically rewrite the walking guide for men or gender neutral audience.
That button leads through a template selection and then a sign in. All we need is some pictures. Hmm....just need the time now.

Exactly, Thank you Kneehighs for being a prime motivator for the men's evolution here!
Always an inspiration.

You can try to go to a shoe school, "the Shoe School" in Port Townsend Washington state, another in Arizona.
am trying to the same hopefully this year!

Very nice Miro picture Miro! That is a bit sad if the shopping has come to an end, maybe maybe a pair of boots for winter.
I have to agree with a cull once in awhile, just makes sense. Hard to find space for them all..
Thanks for sharing!

I am feel the same but this could have been older.
Anyways, glad we clarified that.
TBG, keep going you are awesome!

Red is powerful for sure, I tried getting a pair of red boots last year only to find out they had sold the last pair.
I missed that one, looking for some others in the future. I could also do a burgundy red which I like as well.
Does take more confidence to wear red which I can appreciate, that I am still working towards. Just need the right occasion I think!

Hey Miro,
The look is nice and I like that. I too prefer shorts like yours versus below the knee. Most of those shorts look like some one had an accident in the rear.
I am now using tan or beige hose to cover the no tan legs, my work also makes my legs see no light. I am still trying find heeled sandals similar to yours
but have not found them yet. Wedge sandals I do like as well.

Good question trickrider1, certainly gives contemplation to the process, it may add to my interest in knowing more about the person but would not be the only reason I do so. For the first impression it is a bonus to know the person wears heels, that just makes one more subject comfortable for chatting about.

I have seen 2 other guys wearing heels in Calgary recently, both who work at Fluevog shoe store. Couple in Vancouver as well
last April, but still a rare sighting. I do keep my eyes open though when in public for other like minded wearers.
-
I have bought for both , I do have some pairs of boots which I will not see the public role as they are just not practical to do so.
In the beginning my initial purchases were certainly for bedroom fun some years ago but now I buy with intention of wearing in public.
Good question JeffB, as I and I think many of us have become more confidant in our wearing of heels we too have morphed our style
of purchasing and purpose of heels.

Thanks Thighbootguy for sharing your methods for getting pictures of yourself. That will be helpful for building my own photo methods.
As always nice to see your postings and pictures!

Hello TBG,
I follow your thread and have always been impressed by your persistence and willingness to just be you, that is greatly admired thank you as you are a inspiration.
I do have a question for you if you do not mind, with all your photo documentation which has been really good by the way, how do you do the pictures? Does someone else take them for you or do you use a tripod? Just curious being photographer as well.
Keep going!

Thanks for the update Dr Shoe, agreed once a person feels more confidant an able progress the site is less becomes less important.
The pace of life these days makes it hard to spend the time we use to at all the various interests we have.

But I have seen in rural places where women even get the same kind of stares and nasty comments from other women. It seems that bigger centers are safer from peoples unwanted actions/comments. As many women do, ignore the unwanted comments!
-
My daughter is a 4 legged furry kind, she sniffs at my heels for approval, a quick cookie gets her fast track nod!
So for me, no complications from family acceptance...no one to do that.
On a separate note my niece and her mother commented a month ago "cool heels" regarding my cuban heeled Fluevogs.

I found Jenny's site as well, slowly venturing out with and then Firefox's input lead me to here. It has been many years since I started with heels and HHP helped
prove to me "we can do this"! It has been great confidence booster and as mentioned over and over "we only have one chance at life, so do wear what you want to"
So Dr Shoe, on your note, what happen to Firefox and Xaphod? are they still around? I always wonder what happens to folks who where around early on?

Here is a link to video on how to walk in 6" heels. That can be used for most heights from 3" up.
Jodie who operates this business also sells "design your own shoes".
Which is a major benefit you can order large sizes up to size 49 in Euro sizing. The only thing about sizing is one may have to convert to womens sizing for large sizes or just contact them regarding a special size. Lots of info on the site.

Good event, good way to make it a noticeable and for a good cause. Maybe it will move across Canada!

Yes I just saw that as well, I have noticed in the past few months a couple of other sites have also revamped and taken styles away and new directions have come up.
I was worried that Jean Gaborit did the same. They had so many (great styles) on their site and wondered how they can survive in the present economic climate.
Glad to here Ian stating that many of the past styles will be available. Many of us here have purchased boots from Gaborit, nice to find out what has happened.
Thanks for info!

Obviously he has not worn heels himself, otherwise he would have converted some time ago.........hehe.
Yup, he along with everyone else gets to say what they want but he is out there on a limb by himself with that kind of thinking, for sure!
