  1. Well, that certainly makes it easier now with the family, I would not hide them anymore since they do know about them now. I would still wear them like you have done in the past. But to wear in front of parents may bring more ridicule or unwanted comments towards you. You are who you are, you are learning more about who you are as you grow up, it does not make any difference what anyone says about how you are because that is you. Embrace who are and proceed to be you, that means wear your heels

in places where you are accepted.

Hopefully they will one day be proud of you for that.

  2. That is pretty darn nice there LUVSHeels, certainly cozy looking and a place to just relax and enjoy life. Are you able to wear heels in and around your Cabin home?

I get the feeling that Montana is not necessarily the open minded place Seattle is, so wearing heels would at home or discreetly is that your feeling too?

    Nice place!

Last November, some areas East and South of Buffalo, got 6-7' of snow in 2 or 3 days, from constant Lake Effect. That's more than you get all season long, there in Montana. A small town East of Buffalo, recorded over 250" of snow this past winter. That's over 20 feet!

    Happy Heeling,

    bluejay

Hi Bluejay, Yes in Buffalo area you did get a wack of snow last winter in those storm cycles, but I think it rained incredibly after that no? The weather is so wonky everywhere that "normal winter or seasons are not normal any longer" has been touted. Even in the west we had a low snow winter now extreme warmth and drought to the south in California, geez just can't count on whats next. But is is certainly the extreme events are fun to watch.

, much of the US NE and Maritimes of Canada were hammered

  3. Yes, we had a great day in Seattle, I'm just glad I don't have to deal with that traffic anymore, and I'm from the East Glacier side.  We will be headed back in a couple of weeks.  We are down here for some annual salmon fishing.  It's the one thing I do miss living in Washington.

Have a great day all and keep on heeling :)

Thanks LUVSHeels, true, traffic is a problem as many of the big cities are. Parking is whole other problem too, makes heeling easy when have to walk further..LOL

  4. Hi Heelster!

As much as I disagree with the ban (if it is such) I can understand the festival trying to maintain a level of sophistication and elegance with regards to the red carpet.

Consider all or discussions regarding how little people dress up these days, and how often we don't see anyone in heels unless it is something formal.

    Just a thought - -

Very good point about how many folks just do not want to dress up these days, that is a point of view and did not think about it that way. Good thinking!

Unless you're physically unable due to a handicap what utter chore and burden it must be to put on a pair of heels to walk a short distance on the red carpet to your seat. Woo to those poor poor women! Its not like men are subjected to similar rules, like wearing a suit and tie. Which causes a similar public outcry and...... Oh wait, nobody gives a shit in that case. In which case go cry me a river.

Yes indeed Chorlini you are right, but but I want to wear the heels nice pant suit not suit and tie.....catch 22...hey!

  5. Hi BTBAIHeels, So good for you to carry on with your own wants of heels and skirts. I can totally relate with you about being on the down and low until you ave a chance to be on you own, and slowly collect the wardrobe you want. I hid mine for many years, until I found peace with myself and then a significant other who supports me. Now I have no one to answer to except myself and my SO, I just wish that had happened years ago, but here I am and enjoy what I can do freely now. Keep going because you will always love heels and other complimentary clothing which goes along with the Femboy styling.

Nice pics by the way and the heels look good on you! I like your style!

Interesting that you climb as well (since you bought climbing gear too I am assuming that), climbing allows a person to deal with many fears and if you climb and enjoy it this will build a great base of experience dealing with fears that also prevent us being ourselves. I have climbed for 40 years and am a professional guide, it has given me such a good experience base to draw when I finally came accept my heeling and styling self. I have just gone forward with wearing whatever I want, even more and more items which I want to wear even today. If you climb and look at fear in the face, walk away safely an are stoked about sending an 11a then surely we can wear a pair of heels stare down most any fear which comes our way, obviously like climbing we have to do it safely, which means wearing heels in places and areas which are safe. Be yourself enjoy your gifts of Femboy style and love of heels! We only have one chance at this life, and we can live it to the fullest! Go Preston go!

  6. Hey LUVSHeels, Good for you getting out and wearing some heels in Seattle, that is a good place to do start. My was from Seattle and spent lots of time there, fun place to cruise in some heeled shoes. Great shopping too, such good stores in Bellevue and Queen Ann.

I am just up north from you in BC, are you on the west side or east side of Glacier Park?

    Thanks for sharing!

  7. STANDING TALL: A CURIOUS HISTORY OF MEN IN HEELS, Opening May 8th

    BATA SHOE MUSEUM

    Toronto, Canada

    http://www.batashoemuseum.ca/coming-soon-standing-tall/

This would be the ultimate place to wear heels!

Hi Kneehighs, the event would be awesome to see, but timing is hard to make this spring, so I don't think I could make it happen. The whole museum is a must see at some point. Thanks for posting the link to it, its on the list, maybe this fall.

    Cheers!

  8. I have to agree with you JeffB, a classic black pump is a staple for anyone and anywhere. I had a couple of pairs but updated them out of the collection.

I am looking to get another pair soon. The pumps are fascinating for their sleek, clean and classic appearance. Just have to find space for them though...new

    closet, or house...hmm

  9. i say go for it!!

i dont know where the notion that men cant have a navel ring came from

if guys can wear heels......skirts.....get their nails done......why cant they have a navel ring?

Well after a lot of time not working out to get my navel I finally got it done 2 days ago, yeah!  A titanium bar with a green stone, looks awesome.

  10. I have been wearing polish for a lot of years now, my favorite tech/friend has retired with 2 young kids so I had to go find another tech.

Toes are never without OPI gel now, and try a new color every month. so fun!

  11. From recent shopping for jeans I found some nice newer brands in Canada. Carreli Jeans from Montreal have some nice styles and the fit is very good. They have a mix of cotton, polyester and spandex, so they have some stretch. Another brand that I am quite happy I tried is Ivido Brand jeans in Vancouver that sell some very nice skinny jeans. The website is "pushupjeans.com"jeans are made in Columbia and have a stretch component that fit very nicely. Got to be thin though. True Religion Jeans are still a favorite, with the Becca boot cut.  Jeans are as much fun shopping for as shoes are, put both together what good day!

  12. I have been shopping at Fluevogs for quite sometime now and having keen and positive sales people make the experience so much better. Any of the ladies and guys who work there are always getting to me try other styles in boots and or shoes. They are so awesome, of course me buying many pairs also makes a difference for what kind of help I get. Back in 1998 in Seattle I also went in and tried a couple pairs of boots on with my wife, trying them on was a little uncomfortable for me but the store was pretty good with the help back then.
