I feel like taking the weight off my feet and pouring a stiff drink. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with heels or not. How I feel depends entirely on the quality and fit of the shoe. Mostly these days, I manage to navigate with little discomfort.

But now you're there I have a question for you : how would you feel if you were knocking on someone's door and if it were a guy in heels that answered you ?

How do you feel about getting your feet wet, wearing high heels at the same time? It's probably kind of weird for me to say this, but I kind of enjoy it.

Lol, I never thought about it like that.

Generally where I live getting wet feet means you stepped in a puddle, forced to walk in the snow or have been splashed by a car.

It's not synonimous with pleasure for me.

I think they would look great with Capri pants or with a long evening dress with a split that would reveal just a fleeting glance. I agree, don't cover them up.

i just got some 5 1/2 inch high oxford high heels. And, they are really easy to wear because the feet gets supported very good - nearly like wearing high heel boots.

I have other high heels with the same height - but the oxford heels are much easier to wear.

That makes sense. I never had any oxfords, perhaps it's time I tried a pair.

Can you recommend some?.

amanda, no offense, but you ladies seem to lack variety on your own forum, yet prove imaginative on the rest of the board. Why not start some threads about fictitional dream settings?

I still think wellingtons are more practical for such an ocassion, start out as you mean to go on that's what I say. Up to your armpits in Babies and asociated labour and muck, dog walking, prams (stollers) in the park. leather jackets are practical for taking those punches and slaps from a drunken husband who lost on the races.

I just go and answer the door. I don't think about it at all. I'm bored with the girls forum so I post in here. At least these threads are moving along.

I think I would find a guy wearing womens shoes to be non threatening bordering on amusing.

I wouldn't be interested in watching two guys together. neither am I turned on by the idea of wmen together. This is way off thread now.

I could be wrong but I don't think many women would dress as males along the same kind of lines.

I think some of you read me wrong. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. What I actually meant was that some of you obviously enjoy emulating women in that all that you see before you when wearing heels, hose,skirts etc represents female elegance.(from the waist down) Maybe because that kind of elegance or beauty does not exist in your own life just now?. You can re-create it yourself. I didn't literally mean that you rushed out and bought a pair of sandals you saw a woman wearing at the theatre in order to directly emulate her appearance. Oh dear, I'm afraid I'm not very good at making posts in the guys forum. maybe it's because I only ever attempt it when I'm tipsy.

I did that sometime ago now. I don't regret it. but I do miss some of the women who threaded and posted here when I first Joined.
