  1. A while ago, I went to my local department store wearing heels and pantihose. I needed to buy a more hose. I picked up what I wanted and proceeded to the cashier. As I approached, she asked if I found my size and color. I asked, how did you know they were for me? She said I can see that you are wearing nylons. I asked how do you like my heels? "OMG, I did not notice you were wearing heels." I was wearing 5" Jessica Simpson in beige. She notice my stockings because she worked in that department but never noticed my heels.

  4. Mlroseplant, I lived in Omaha, Millard specifically, for 4.5 yrs. There is barely a flat spot in the city. It's a decent sized city with a broad cultural base, not what I expected when I moved there. This was back in 91 thru 96, when I really first started wearing heels. I went public a few times back then, was still worried about acceptance, a condition all of us new male heel wearers seem to struggle with. Anyway, in those few times I never had any issues. What school did he play at?

  5. I just returned from Omaha, Nebraska, where my son had a show choir contest. Well actually, he's the bassist in the backing band, he's not one of those to go about singing and dancing on a stage for people. He really does a good job, even though he's less than enthusiastic about the group. It's good experience for him as a budding mercenary musician. At any rate, that's got nothing to do with heels, except that I had to park a long, long ways away from the school building where this contest was being held, just because the event was so large. Nebraska is in general a very flat, sparsely populated state, known mostly for being way too long to drive through on your way to Colorado, and college football. However, Omaha is a river town, and the Missouri river, upon the bank of which Omaha is situated, used to be many several times bigger than it is today. Therefore, Omaha is quite a hilly city in many places, one of which is where I parked. I did ok, but I was pretty slow, especially compared to the kids, who seem to like to run everywhere. I can run in the heels I chose to wear, but I have never tried it downhill, and it is probably inadvisable to do so. I did actually bring backup shoes with me, just in case. I did not need to be dealing with a shoe failure that far away from home. There is really nothing out there on the internet about "How to Walk in Heels in the Real World." And really, what would such advice be? "Walking uphill OR downhill, you're going to look like you're struggling a bit, and forget about walks that are canted sideways. The best you can do is avoid falling or twisting an ankle." Or, "Walk tall and look forward off into the distance, while at the same time paying attention to what is directly in front of you, so that you don't put your heel down a crack in the sidewalk." Oh well, we do the best we can!

  6. I have 2 pair of pumps. Super comfortable but they do show a well worn look quickly. They rapidly conform to your feet and quickly wrinkle and bulge once worn. Personally I love the look of well worn heels but if you're more into shoes looking trim and clean these may disappoint you. They currently run at about $200 before shipping. See my heels at work posts. I pictured both pair there.

  9. I'm expanding my work collection. Currently at 6 pair at my desk. Heels as we all know offer so much more in terms of types and colors.

  10. I would recommend going to Alliexpress and looking at the Hey Si Mey line. They are Chinese but are actually good quality and run very large sizes. They're unique in Chinese heels actually are scaled to the shoe size. Colors are limited, surprisingly for Chinese heels.

  11. Officially sexually exclusive with Slovenian. It's a mutually agreed upon boundary. We have a trip together to Paris for 6 nights at the end of the month. We have a mutually agreed upon boundary we'll call ourselves a couple if things go well there. If things go well in Paris, we've mutually agreed she'll start to make plans to move in with me near April/May She's positively cool about me wearing heels, wearing gel polish on my nails (we're going to get matching red), (skirts--but I never wear skirts) and is cool with any level of gender non binary dressing. Needless to say, that's a dream come true. To express with authenticity my feminine style in my closest relationship is something I'm very grateful for. More importantly, she exhibits character traits suitable for a happy long term committment. Kindness, consideration, respect, loyalty, warmth, etc. I've had my fun. Sowed my wild oats. Some of the stories are even documented on here from back in 2005. Dated too many girls to count. Time to settle down and build something together. In pic, her legs on left, my legs on right.
