Man, where are all you ladies at? You're hard to find

There does seem to be a good amount of females who wear tall heels, leather outfits, corsets, sexy outfits and so on alot or daily but all you females who do are extremely hard to find outside the net. I'm lucky if I see a female wearing 3 inch heels once a week in my county. Even in the cities, its more or less a night time deal if you want any luck seeing a female dressed up and/or wearing her heels. As for seeing one wearing heels 5" or higher. Lol thats a super rare thing. maybe twice a year. Now meeting one who dressed like this often is hard enough but finding one who dresses like this and wears tall heels every day is the hardest thing in the world. I was lucky to find a girlfriend who wore them a good amount but that relationship has passed sadly. So come on ladies. Make yourselves known and easier to find.

Where in the USA do you live?

Boston has lots, and lots....of awsome feet in gorgeous shoes all over! Especially in the Financial District and Back Bay. 3",4", and even 5" heels everywhere! My hometown has lots of beautiful Spanish women who wear nice heels at the local colleges, and all over downtown. I guess it depends on where you are, but MA has lots of heel-clad women! Which is one of the few great things about this state!!

Walking in ultra-highs because it's exciting...and it is!!

ladies like that are found in the night life in the big cities partying hard. I've seen them in down town Ft Worth and Dallas Texas. Never at the malls or Wal-Mart.

t-straps are my favorite style.

I live in PA

What are the people like? Are there any BIG cities? Do you live in a small town or a big city? Surely these are all factors?

The biggest cities are Philly and Pittsburgh. both of which are on either side of the site and im pretty much dead center in the south.

its mostly conservative people around here. the only differences are in those two cities.

Hi Stilettocot, Your so right about our lovely Spanish women. Down here in Texas when you see a woman in heels its mostly those pretty Senoritas. Watch those Spanish TV stations sometimes. Their always wearing sexy heels or boots 4" and up.

That's the problem then. In London and where I live in Brighton (60 miles south of London on the coast) there are thousands of women wearing ridiculously high heels everywhere you care to look. They wear them to work, to the supermarket, on nights out and even to the beach on the pebbles. There are even quite a few men that regularly wear heels.

I livge near Pittsburgh and go out there a lot. Many times, I seem to be one of the few people wearing heels. It can be hit or miss, but I would hardly call Western PA a hot bed for fashion. As for living in Central PA, you should be happy people are wearing shoes at all! I would figure Harrisburg to have some trendier people?

Go to Phila, 2nd St & Chestnut on a Sat night, and you will find tons!

Also, King of P mall to some extent. Better chance, go to NJ to a fancy mall or Westchester Cty, NY, to a fancy mall. Best is NYC, for example 79th & Amsterdam and surrounding, at night time. Also, during regular day time hours, in NYC (=Manhattan) on the major avenues, you'll find some, but not as much as you would think. Today, I saw one with 5.5" platform stilettos there. Or what about Las Vegas?

I am sure there is nothing out there in the country side of PA....

Heelma,

This is one of my favorite summer spots. Having a beer in Rotten Ralphs and watching the Young Ladies walk by. Have you been there?

FLAT SHOES, LIKE FLAT DRINKS, ARE FOR FLAT PEOPLE

I must agree; when I was in London in September a few years ago, the number of women wearing BOOTS was astounding - It crossed my mind to move there just for the fun of it all!!!!

It's all about the heel!

I live near Brighton (waves out window to benno) and agree. Brighton attracts many ecclectic people and a lot of people are from London who visit Brighton because it's a good city to go out in which is why so many dress for the occassion. I think this ups the ante and raises the standard of what's normal for everyone else who in turn wear them to work and out and about.

London is great too, a very cosmopolitan city with a lot of lush, lush shops. Lots of 5" heels trotting around too. European cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Rome and Paris also have a lot of women who love their shoes.

Brighton didn't get called 'London by the sea' for nothing. I have friends from London who come to Brighton to do their shopping! It's a wonderful place to have lived and grown up in. Cheers, Ben

So come on ladies. Make yourselves known and easier to find.

When younger, most of the ladies I was attracted to wore heels. Not just because they wore heels, but because they were interested in looking feminine, one or two even preferred to be 'ultra' feminine. One I remember, actually bought herself some 6" heels because I liked them, not because she 'naturally' wanted to own a pair....

What did I learn from this? Well, 'on-the-day', nothing. I was too young and stupid to realise what was going on. But basically she was eager to please, and I missed it. But the lesson I learned later, is that our 'ideal' women is created, more often by our relationship with them, than by their devising the style on their own.

Morale: You are significantly more likely, to get what you want from an easy-going enthusiastic partner, than anyone else.

The chances of you 'bumping into' a girl who dresses exactly how you'd like her to, and wants a relationship with you, are practically zero. The only way that would be any different, would be if she was in a 'scene' and you were in there too. [i have in mind a fetish club when I use this term here.] One scenario could be a small group of girls meet a small group of fellas in a 'specialist' club. Draw your own conclusions on what sort of club that might be. I can think of about 3 immediately, possibly 4 if the term 'club' is rather loose. :wink1: [i include perhaps 'gentlemens' clubs with that comment, though why a girl would be going out with a club member, can only be guessed at. "Stunningly attractive man" is one answer, access to a better lifestyle might be another.]

Moral: You've got to be in the pool, to get wet.

As for just seeing fashionably high shoes, anywhere there's a fashionable group and money.... [Meaning: an interest, and access route to it.] In NY there's plenty of competition to be seen as the Alpha Female, and amongst some, the money to play in the race. Same true of London, and other major cities around the world. You need to be a member of 'the club' to get access to these attractive people though.....

I've made an interesting discovery, very recently.

Everyone eats. Most (not all) prefer to shop themselves. You know what you're getting if you do it yourself....

Over here in the UK, there are a number of supermarkets that generally are associated with income levels, and less so with actual 'value-for-money'. I'm used to going to Tesco, which is easily the largest group over here, with (apparently) them getting one in every eight pounds spent by consumers.

"Below" them in the percieved 'pecking order' is ASDA, Morrison's, and further down, Lidl and Aldi.

With the odd exception, I've not seen very interesting footwear in any of these shops local to me. Yes I've seen exceptions, but maybe once to every 50 visits? 1:50

Up from Tesco, is Waitrose, and Sainsbury. These are normally sited close to communities that can tolerate their slightly higher prices, and generally, better quality goods. I've no experience of Waitrose, but I've been to a local Sainsbury a number of times recently. The 'hit-rate' for seeing stunning shoes is better than 1:1, in fact it's closer to 2:1 with some patent KG boots being seen just the other day. [My escort asked her where they came from, is how I know.]

Where am I going with this?

Standing in an empty field expecting to see wonderous things, is largely going to be a fruitless exercise. Travel to a place where wonderous things have been seen before, or are seen frequently, and you'll have a better experience.

Moral: "Chance" favours those who <get out there and> look for it.

Cheers,

Ben

If I had my way, I'd be living there, even if it meant working at McRubbish. I love the place, even the 'rough' student end. [Had a lovely evening with a girl in a French restaurant over the East End. Night flew by.]

I've even been there looking for premises, before finding out the costs. [You wouldn't believe how expensive Brighton is to rent commercial property!] I can certainly understand the comment; "London by the sea." B)

I'm hoping to spend some time there soon.

In my 4 days in Brighton, I was impressed with the place. For a small city, it had some serious shops and kick-ass downtown area, filled with nightlife. Heels will be where you drive to them...100 miles to see what you love is nothing.

I love Sainsbury's. It keeps the Chavs out of Waitrose.

Really? Guess where I'm going Saturday.:wink1:

Stangely enough, it's almost EXACTLY 100 miles from where I live.

I doubt it'll come to much, but I think there should be a HH meet in Brighton. Maybe coupled with an overnight stay?

Benno, what say you? [Assuming a couple of people could visit, might you guide us where to go in the evening?] No pressure like.

I discussed this sort of thing with my girlfriend last night and she thought it sounded like quite a laugh. We would have to have strict rules as to types of heels allowed though. And we can set fire to any shoes that fail to comply! At least it will make a cool photo.

Possibly best to keep the heels to the evening? Some of the Old Town has cobbled streets.....

As I say, I doubt it would come to much. Many here like the idea of a Meet, but few make the time for one. I'm going to be coming down a couple of times in the near future. My 'walking buddy' has offered to pay for fuel so I can buy her fish and chips on the front somewhere. That'll be a day/earling evening visit. I expect to do some shoe shopping during the day....

I think there are at least 4 members around the South who could meet up, and I don't mind travelling? [Put me down for 2 then.]

I owe my wife at least one night in Brighton. The last time we stayed [7+ years ago] the flea pit we stayed at was so bad I wouldn't even get in the bed. [Was possibly too drunk anyway.] This time I'll book a room, rather than collect the slack from others having more foresight.

When me and a couple of others last visited on a shop-for-a-shop day, it would have been about 5 years ago. And thinking about it, I must have some piccies of the interesting shoes seen that day somewhere..... Amonget other photo's of shops we couldn't afford to rent.

I feel a little narcissistic quoting myself and all, but sometimes its necessary. Recently, I have noticed some women wearing great shoes in the Pittsburgh area. In fact, I saw about 25 women in fantastic shoes at a baseball game last night! Go figure, I would have never expected anybody to wear heels to a ball game...

Maybe, it just a case of looking a little closer...

During the day, I don't see that many women wearing high heels as I used to now. Many businesses have gone so casual. But at night at almost all of the night spots, you see women of all ages wearing high heels. Our city isn't that large (1/2 a million), I guess it just depends on what part of the city you are in and when.

I agree with your supermarket analysis, FF, and am pleased that you make it clear that the 'ranking' is one of perceived status (roughly corresponding with customer income) rather than quality of produce or price. With the squeeze biting here and people looking to save money, the so-called down-market supermarkets such as Aldi and Lidl are seeing a lot more business. And, imho, they deserve to as the quality of almost everything they sell is at least as good as that which one can buy in Waitrose or Sainsburys and the prices are much keener. It is snob-appeal that keeps Waitrose going rather than any overall special quality and it certainly ain't the place for saving money.

But, I digress. I can't say from my own experience that I agree with your suggestion that 'stunning shoes' go hand-in-hand (foot-in-foot??) with posh supermarkets. But it does depend on what you mean by stunning shoes - I assume smart, stylish and sexy rather than merely expensive/designer (and possibly boring). And the locality and the demographics are key factors, too. In a predominantly working-class area with lots of women who like to follow fashion and 'dress up' (albeit perhaps somewhat tartily), one is likely to find many stylish shoes (from Faith, Office and similar outlets, as well as from cheaper places) worn in Asda, Aldi, Lidl etc. And in a wealthier middle-class suburban area, the majority of the Waitrose/Sainsbury women seem to be dressed down (at least while shopping), either dully but expensively or in cheapish flip-flops, trainers, ballerinas etc.

It was good, too, to see the comments about Brighton. I lived there for 27 years until 2000 and love the place. (I miss it in some ways, but definitely not the traffic and the draconian parking regime now imposed.) One supermarket there that seemed to me to buck the trend was Asda at the Marina - a peculiar mix of customers from the nearby Whitehawk council estate and those from the marina itself or just off their yachts. I don't know whether the footwear seen there nowadays is stunning or tacky - probably an eclectic mixture; Benno may know.

I can only speak from my experience in Hertfordshire, and North London. Luchtimes may indicate some cross-income movement, due to the lack of time to do otherwise, but 'main shopping' is almost entirely predictable.
