euchrid Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia "Knee-high boots are boots that rise to the knee, or slightly thereunder" Well duh! Thanks for that - my mind is now at rest. Always High-Heel Responsibly
jmc Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 It's good that they cleared that up Have a happy time!
r1g0r Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 ok, fine:-? but what about ankle boots ?!? or THIGH boots ? or... or... bootIES or PUSS IN boots ?!? not to mention boutonnières now what do we do? society has decided that men will be confined to certain items of clothing, and certain modes of presentation. until we rebel PERSONALLY against this, we are diminished!
Dr. Shoe Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Perhaps some Ebay traders should read that too. Too often I see "knee boots" listed and they are obviously ankle, calf or thigh boots. Also, I hate the way they advertise "Designer" stuff but don't even know who the designer is. I saw some calf boots advertised as thigh boots, jeeze, why can't some of these people take Anatomy 101? Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
at9 Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Altogether now............. http://www.kididdles.com/lyrics/d009.html
crotchboots-m Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 when i see those ebay gaffs i try to take the time and send them message about it using the question option. one other thing i hate is when they dont list the size in the heading.
Bootking Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 How about when they list the size but either not the material and certainly not the dimensions (calf width, top opening, thigh width, etc. etc.)? It's all about the heel!
johnieheel Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Maby it's dwarfs listing ankle boots as kneehighs. Ya think? real men wear heels
sevenup Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 I'm glad they clarified that point i've always wondered how high they were !!!!! L o L
shyguy Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 That would explain why my kneeboots come way up past my ankles then. At least I know for the future. He was so narrow minded he could see through a keyhole with both eyes. Brown's Law: If the shoe fits, it's ugly
Histiletto Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Hey guys & gals! They aren't really kneehighs. They are the lost part of the legs for footed bunny pajamas that someone stuck a sculpted block on for the heels. I know you thought you had it all figured out. Sorry for the dissolutionment. You know about the behind flap? It has been known to open at any time. You might fall out. Go ahead, wiggle your nose. Need some lettuce? Watch it! You're twitterpating those ears and you could break a lobe bone.

Dan J Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Perhaps some Ebay traders should read that too. I saw some calf boots advertised as thigh boots, jeeze, why can't some of these people take Anatomy 101? They probably think that "calf boots" are boots that are worn by calves. Dan
