Tech Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 unknown (OK, just learned something. The new board S/W does not seem to like posts less than 10 characters in length. We are probably going to have to get creative in these word game threads.) Hi All The 10 character limit was imposed by myself so you can blame me for that. This was put in place initially as some members only post things like "i agree" in threads just to increase their post count... Posts like this are often though to be wasteful, and worthless by many but if its a pain then I can remove it as long as its not abused. Its meant to encourage members to post something useful and meaningful instead of loads of posts containing "excellent" or "I agree" and nothing else. If its some sort of poll members want where the response's are of that nature then there are polls and surveys for that. At the moment, until everything is settled I was "err'ing on the side of caution... I hope this clarifies it but please dont shoot me just yet?
