jay_nyca1
I was wondering, where do most find their high heels? Do some go and buy them new from stores or on line or from thrift shops and consignment stores?. . . . . jay_nyca1
ShockQueen
I wasn't quite sure which one to vote for, but I usually buy mine new in stores, or new online...that way I get to do the initial breaking in, and they fit much better afterwards :-) SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge! jay_nyca1
ShockQueen, Nice answers, I can't fault you on that! You can't beat the feeling of being the "first" to try on and buy a new pair of heels!. . . .Nothing beats that new leather smell!. . . . jay_nyca1
chris100575
I prefer to buy new, but have had a couple of pairs second hand. I usually only buy second hand if it's either a real bargain or something hard to find. Chris

HeelD
Why is there no all the above option? I'd go for that one! Heel-D - Freestyling since 2005
Adeana
I have a few shopping strategies for heels 4" and higher that are name brand. Aldo and Fredrick's have outlets at 2 of the Pittsburgh malls. Usually something fun on sale at either. DSW has a lot of heels and often carries really great heels at a great price. Marshalls and TJMax have designer shoes at about 1/5 the cost. Sometimes they get in horrbile heels. Sometimes they have an amazing selection of name brand heels for a greta price. That is where I get my Steve Maddens and Chinese Laundry. Does anyone ever Email anymore? Send me one! I like to chat!
Fog
Buy new in shops - mainly in the sales. It's the fun of trying them on. Sometimes in street markets, that's getting less and less. I often buy clothes in markets though.
sscotty727
I find alot of nice heels on Ebay. I normally only buy new unless it has been only slightly worn and a hard to find style I really like. If it is available new, then I buy it new. Danielinheels
I go into the store and try on my shoes. When I can't do that, or if I find something online that I like enough, I'll order online. I buy only new online. In person I'll accept a used pair because I can examine the extent of the wear. Best retail source for me is the lola model from classicpumps.com. I have umteen pairs of them and they are to die for! where do you live??? Firefox
Impressive! I just go into a store and buy mine, usually at the sales. I'm either size 40 or 41 so I can generally find some that will fit.
