Firefox Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Parson's Green (For those that don't know, you have to spot the pattern in the chain of London tube stations. We'll tell you if you're right or wrong)
ShockQueen Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Bond Street (was also in the title of a David Bowie song - Maid of Bond Street). Firefox....WHAT pattern? I saw the names you mentioned on a map of the underground, and didn't see any pattern. Now...in the middle of the map, there is a section that looks a bit like a bottle on its side... :drinking: Is that close? SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!

shyguy Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Never really got this game, but is Wood Green ok? He was so narrow minded he could see through a keyhole with both eyes. Brown's Law: If the shoe fits, it's ugly
Firefox Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 No, sorry Shy Guy... Cockfosters would have done. Can anyone follow that? (BTW, Bottle theory is not correct, but keep trying!)

PJ Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 I've gone through and matched the station names here with a London Underground map at http://tube.tfl.gov.uk/content/tubemap/default.asp and I still don't see any pattern. However, I do see the bottle laying on it's side pattern that ShockQueen mentioned. click .... click .... click .... The sensual sound of stiletto heels on a hard surface.

Dr. Shoe Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 We weren't playing the extended rules but since no one has played Aldwich, Tower Hill or Victoria, I guess we are now! Lewisham Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Bubba136 Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 While I've ridden the London underground a number of time, I haven't the slightest idea what you guys are doing (outside of the fact that you're trying to follow a subway route from one point to another by naming all of the points inbetween). How about someone explaining the rules to us "foreigners"? Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Firefox Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Oxford Circus (sorry about not explaining the rules, but one of the key parts of the game is actually spotting the patterns )
