Will be interesting to see how they react. I'm not going to tell them I'm a guy though. This is more to see how my designs fall with the "fashion"-crowd. (As I'm a wannabe-shoedesigner...)

Stunning! Absolutely stunning!

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

There is actually a lot more to it than just drawing pretty pictures of shoes (as good yours are).

You need to know where you can put seams and where you can't, what can actually be made, the colour and silhoette two years ahead and the engineering that goes with your design. Perhaps you should look for a college where this subject is taught, follow your dream- I did and never regret it.

When I was at college in 1997 we were shown a multi-million pound computer system that was used to design shoes. I thought the pictures produced were realistic but that takes the biscuit for sure! As a note, the machine would also automatically produce patterns and component lists.

hey trolldeg, excellent piece of 3d work, I've played with 3d studio before but never got the hang of 'smooth' shaped objects, i've normally played with buildings and stuff... excellent website too, i like your robot and cartoon character in your portfolio. good luck with the job hunting!

Trolldeg:-) Excellent work. You really have got the hang of "virtualosity". Like Robert says---looks like a photograph of a real pair. Very realistic. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Great work, Trolldeg! :D The "leather" shines beautifully, and I love the extra eyelets on the oxfords. I'd like to own a pair like this... In the meanwhile, beofre I own a pair, I wanted to use both images (Boots and oxfords) as my wallpaper. I've asked you this before, in another thread with virtual shoes, could you render these in 1024x768? thanks!

ok, to stick with the new guidelines for picture posting, I'll put these in this thread, though they are not boots... :-?

I like these oxfords. Really a shame they aren't real.

They didfn't fit me. Can you design any mega-platforms in my size which is a UK 6. Don't understand the technology bit. Maybe I can get this kit and design myself a virtual man. GGxxx

Trolldeg, I was wondering if you could send me some of the geometry files for your virtual footwear, I'd love to try them on some of my CG female models sometime and post them to the board?
