Gige Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I saw these for sale and my reaction was, truthfully, "Ugly as can be." Maybe others will disagree with me but these are a mess as they look like shoes a clown would wear. I think they are personally hand painted. 1

As a good friend would say: "wouldn't be caught dead in a ditch" wearing these...
Gige Posted August 24 Author Posted August 24 Believe it or not, the asking price was $100/85 Euros/75 Pounds. Seriously?

I can see them as part of a costume, but probably not for lunch. To each their own If someone does wear them, I'll congratulate their confidence level. 1 (formerly known as "JimC")
Gige Posted August 24 Author Posted August 24 I would buy them only so that they could be destroyed, possibly by fire or similar means.
CrushedVamp Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They remind me of my Grandmother's Tole Painting endeavors. A lot of people hold fond memories of their grandmother, but not me; mine was abusive and full of pure hatred. Yet, she could not stand people praising someone else up. That included my grandfather who built amazing working wooden toys. To get in on the act she would paint them, and it looked like those shoes. Like a five year old painted them in art class. Yep, she sucked at tole painting. So did whoever painted those shoes.
Shyheels Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Neither of my grandmothers were exactly storybook characters either - unless you're thinking of a wicked witch. One was a psycho and the other was in the rackets.
Cali Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Somewhere out there, there must be a clown missing their shoes.
Shyheels Posted 21 minutes ago Posted 21 minutes ago That was actually my first thought - that they were part of a clown costume
