This was a Walk A Mile In Her Shoes event. The red Maddens are from the clearance rack at Elder-Beermans.

I wish they done lots of walk a mile walks in the UK.  I would do them every week

It was from the walk a mile in her shoes that I originally had the idea from to wear heels and raise money for Help for Heroes back in 2009.

another inspiration was when Christopher Biggins and a few other guys walked 5kms to raise awareness of the 5km walks

for Cancer Research UK.

I decided that 1 mile or 5kms was not far enough so I decided on 5 miles (8kms).  I also decided that 4 inch heels were not high enough

so I picked the Pleaser XTC 826 platforms I'm wearing in my avatar.
