Guest Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Wow! Finally got my password reset. Icould not read the security word because it was so jumbled up. Anyway, I want to show off what I am wearing to work. I was reluctant to wear these because it has been hot. These are my 9West boots. I brought these to work and I was going to change into these, butg it has Been raining and has cooled off. I have been wearing these everyday for the past 2 months. They are franco fortini. Here iam at work and eating at 5 guys. These hav e really become my Everyday shoe.
Mike Hinch Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 That first pix on the left really looks safe for boys, Probably safe and not attension getting with long pants. And even if I can go to the mall in six inch stilettos I still value that unisex look for other places.
Guest Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 yes they do have some "boy" look to them, helps to make them "safe". Now I am more into what I can wear everyday and go about everyday Life. If I was still buying pumps and sandals I would be flat broke and Divorced because there is SO much out there that I love, so I have to Focus on what's practical. OH! Jjust saw some boots at belks that would Be great. I look for more of "boy" toe box and chunky heel when buying Shoes. those closed toe Sandals fit that very well, more so than the 9west. My pants cover my Skin and wit it being hot and wearing jeans, the sandal helps. I also have to be conservative for my wife. I don't want to draw any Attention. She does not care for it, but does not complain. Here iam at work. Had to go to the store. Oh, and I wore my 9west for 15 hours yesterday. If it does not rain today, probably 10 hours. 9west again. Ifigured why not 3 days in row. After today, no heels until Tuesday. Its our aniversery this weekend so I will give her break.
Steve63130 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Good choices for street heeling. I like that kind of heel for public wearing myself. Good that your wife tolerates it. Make sure you treat her right on your anniversaries and every day in between! Have a Happy Anniversary! Steve
Mike Hinch Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 That is defenatly enough boy look to stay safe. While I can go to the store in stilettos that safe conservitive is what I need to get more of for the places that I go that still have not been liberated. Like the shop where I hang out. Management has no problems with skirts and heels but reports filter back from the customers.
Guest Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Todays shoe. Back in my franco's. Great weekend. Took the porsche's to the mountains with my brothers. No heels. Saw some Very nice ones though. What kind of feedback do u get.
dww Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Would love a pair of the Franco's they are my favorite style, but I know you have had them quite a few years, but I am still looking for something simular. life is not a rehearsal
Guest Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 They are at least 15 years old. I never wore them until I realized I could get Away with them. Here is todays love, and my alternate, what I usually wear. These might be my favorite shoes, along with the 9west I have been wearing. I really love the toe on these. The weekend, no heels. Here is another pair I have been wearing. They are lower but I really Love the toe on these, plus they have lots of miles from someone else. I buy lots of used shoes if I can. Its nice to be size 9. The pair in the bacground of my alternates is what I wore to work For years. The toe onthose is extremely man looking. And the Thick chuncky heel helps. It also makes them quiet when walking. Something I have found that makes it much easier to get away with heels. So much so I have started removing the heel and filling the hollow heels With silicon. The hi pitched "click" of heels can be dead give away. Those are bare traps. I must have 10 pairs of them. Some are shoes Like those and some are boots.
Curt Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I make all my heels quiet. I hate too much noise. But it is heaven when a pretty girl has loud stilettos! Just my point of view.
Guest Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I may be getting limited to what I can wear. When I was a kid I kinda twisted My left ankle. As a result, my left foot does not bend as much as my right, so I have a liitle more difficulty walking on my left. But that's not the real problem. I did a lot of walking in the franco's a while back and it ended up making my left Ankle hurt. The 9west I have been wearing this week started making it hurt yesterday. The franco's are a great height but everything else I wear is a tad higher. I don't think I can wear the first pair of boots I first wore to work anymore. It was Really to a school for work, but I spent 30 days in them 18 hrs a day. I have another Pair jessica simpson boots that I may not be able to wear. I had a hard time in them Due to my left ankle before there was pain. I guess I will have to plan for days With not much walking.
Guest Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 FIRST TIME wearing these to work. They are BAKERS, size 9 and have been Worn quite a bit by the previous owner. (PO), which is always a bonus. They have quite a hi heel so to think the PO has "suffedered" in them Just makes them all that much sweeter. I have not worn these that much Because I don't want to ruin them. I was planing on wearing the enzo's Agaian but since there are not many people here I thought these would be A nice change. They are just a tad higher Than what I have been wearing lately so they may give my already hurting Left ankle a workout. I did not get them on til around 9 this morning, about 3 hrs later than Normal, which sucks, so maybe I will just have to wear them again. That's now 15 pairs of heels 3 34 inches and higher that I have worn to Work plus the 4 1/2 inch boots I wore at a school for work. I can only remember 6 pairs under 3 inches.
Guest Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I had to go with the bakers again. Even though I got late start in them Friday, I managed 14 1/2 hrs. I got a 6am start today. Its funny, as much as I love these boots and want to wear them, I don't Want to wear them so they stay "preserved".
Marion Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Its funny, as much as I love these boots and want to wear them, I don't Want to wear them so they stay "preserved". Haha, that might be why there are some shoes I love that I buy twice : one pair to wear and another as a "backup" :-D My shoe collection album
Jkrenzer Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I have a few pair of "perfect" heels I have bought a spare.One pair of Frederick's 5" basic pumps I have 3 pair.
Guest Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 My 2nd day in a row in the bakers. I can tell that I have been wearing heels again. The more I wear heels the less I notice them, except when others are around. If I am just sitting or standing, it does not feel like I am wearing heels. I wonder if woman go through the same thing. Do they put on heels and not think about their feet or the shoes. My foot is bent in the shape of heels so much now it feels natural for it to be that way. I think tghe way these fit is a little different so it is like something new. Unfortunately this are old, otherwise I would at least 5 pairs of these. I can't but wonder where and what all the PO did in these and how her feet felt.
Guest Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Well I opted for a lower heel today. These arfe my 9west "trainers". We call these trainers bec ause the heel is not that high and it is chunkie To give more support. I still love these though. The toe looks great, I love The fit and these were worn quite a lot by the PO. The problem with these Is the sound they make when walking and they bother my toe ring. I wore them bacause it is going to be a short day in heels. I know a lot of u will hate to hear this, but on Friday, after a week of 4 inch Heels, I was thinking it would be nice to not to have to wear heels. Saturday I was already wantiing heels back on, but I had to work on the car.
Mike Hinch Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Those look nice and are probably netural enough for the places where stilettos would be too much. Also am finding it dificult to have a good toe ring for #2 but have rings on both #4 for many years with no problems.
Guest Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Back in "old faithful". These have been my summer shoes. These have a very Nice heel. I had one on my left foot and two on my right. Now I am down to one on the left. I need new ones. BTW, all pics are taken each day.
Guest Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Something new and special today. My sketchers tennis shoes. First time To work in these. After all, why wear flats when u can wsear heels. I had to do some work von the rooff. I think I am getting more looks from these. Gthe guy I was working with asked iff I got new shoes. He has commented on my heels before. Nothing much though. I wish I had keptg the conversation up when he did ask. 11 hours in my "summer" heels. My Friday shoe. Not many people here today. These tend to be a "dangerous" Shoe. As u can tell, I like taking pics of my shoes. The marks from my other shoes look worse than they are. But after about 2 weeks inthem they can be problem.
Steve63130 Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 That first "attached thumnail" looks more like a toenail. Hee, hee! Steve
geezyweezy Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I think they are great.. but you should step it up!
Guest Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Back in my 9west. Iam going to have to find another pair of these because This may just be my winter shoe. I had to post these pics. I thought they looked just too good. 16 hours in heels yesterday. My calves are actually tired today. I could feel It in them last night. I ride a bicycle quite a bit and had a hard sprint finish The other day, maybe that is what I feel. (A good reason to shave the legs). I use to race years ago and had legs that would make you cry. I tried to sleep in them last night but that only lasted 1 1/2hours. I wantd to wear them again today but it is going to be hot. These are already bothering mt toe ring
Mike Hinch Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 That is probably a good idea. If all the children got toe rings on that second toe before growing full size then the ring could not slip off and always be there to protect them from pointy toe shoes. Anyway the shoes ni #24 look pretty good and not too girly. Still I can see the the toe box does narrow just a bit more than needed.
Guest Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 In my 9west again. Not sure what to wear Friday, these or my Enzo angiolin wedge. Next week is suppose to cool off, I may get out a pair of my Jessica tall boots. I had to take off my ring on the right. It was not going to last all day. I need to get new rings anyway. Anyone paint their toe nails or is a dumb question. I think my wife Likes that least of all, but I keep socks on when she is around. I am finding I like darrk colors a lot, although I am considering a French job next.
Maninheels Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Thats kind of funny, my wife likes my polished toenails more than my heels. She actually would rather I polish them if I am wearing sandals of any kind rather than having them plain.
Guest Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Its a sad day when I am not looking forward to a 3 day weekend, no heels, or at least not nearly as much.
thighhighboo Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I wear today my thighhighboots inside my house
Guest Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Another pair of jessica simpsons. If you want good looking and hi boots, Jessicas are the ticket. These are the highest I wear to work. They are a tad too hi for my left ankle. They are also dangerous to wear. As the heels get hi, less toe sticks out past My jeans, and as you can see, these are real bad. Being a size 9 does not help. I wasn't going to wear these to work again but I could not resist. The zipper is non functioal
