stilettopete Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 A few but the important thing is not losing any. How very true. Nice one. "You put high heels on and you change" M. Blahnik
LovesHiHeels Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Made some new friends from heel meets arranged from here.
Dr. Shoe Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 A few but the important thing is not losing any. Actually I disagree. If they were true friends they wouldn't care what you wore on your feet... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Steve63130 Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I've met lots of people from here in person, and some have become good friends, so the answer is yes. Steve
Shafted Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Actually I disagree. If they were true friends they wouldn't care what you wore on your feet... So true. Shafted, the boots that is! HappyinHeels Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I also agree with Dr. Shoe here with her point on true friends wouldn't care about what's on your feet. Friends are made by common interests. True friends are made by what lives in one's heart. One cannot fail to see what lies beyond the shoes. HappyinHeels
ilikekicks Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Went into a busy ( very popular ) pizza/sub place tonight wearing my NineWest ' Pinktop ' booties with a pair of black cargo pants tucked into them ( pics are in the pics section from a while back, same boots/pants as in the pic ). One of the girls behind the counter flipped out ' OMG! I Have the same pair of boots and just love them! '. I usually stop in there twice a week for lunch when Im out and about. Not a new ' friend ' but a pretty cool associate. Im under the impression from my experiences that most people really dont care whats on your feet, its whats in your brain. REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
roniheels Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 When I have worn high heels in public, when women compliment me on the high heels I am wearing, I make it a point to go back to those places and shoe them the high heels I'm wearing and it usually leads to some discussion, as happened just recently.
