skytopdancer Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I've always has the opinion that Uggs were ugly and bogus, until a friend of mine talked me in to trying her pair on. Well I'm sold... so i bought a pair. they're super comfy and can't wait for our cold Canadian winters to keep my feet toasty. I also couldn't resist buying a new pair of jeans to go with them lol... Whats everyones thoughts on Uggs? http://www.hhplace.org/picture.php?albumid=667&pictureid=7175
Booted Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I love them. The best pair of slippers I've ever owned.
FreshinHeels Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 yuggs In the process of becoming the person I always was...but didn't dare to let her come out
LuvyourShoes Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Incredibly uggly, but oddly attractive on the right pair of feet when worn with a nice outfit. I've never tried the authentic Ugg boots on, but I have tried on the slippers and they are fantastic! Not totally sold on them though!
heelguy Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I wear my uggs every single day when i get home, i absolutely LOVE them!

Other times, not so much. In general, not a big fan. A Man's Shoe Obsession: A blog of a man who loves high heels and women's shoes. http://amaninheels.tumblr.com/
ilikekicks Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I wear UGGs when its cold out. The Odd thing is, I have been wearing them since.. 2003? They were one of the first things I robbed/borrowed from a former relation. I think they are UGGly, but they do suit a purpose quite well. REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
CRabbit Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I must agree with the others that, on the right legs with the right outfit, they do look pretty darn good. I think it also has something to do with which of the vast array of UGG boots the is being worn too...
Dr. Shoe Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 If anyone else posts that they like uggs, they're banned for life! Don't think I won't either... OK... I just don't like them OK? Shafted Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Actually uggs would probably be really nice when clearing my driveway with my snowblower. They're more practical than stylish. Let's face it they're well named. Shafted, the boots that is! The grizzly bear look and walk, instantly turning the prettiest/most handsome wearer into an ursine nightmare. Are the snowboots of a few years ago still available? They're still not elegant, but IMHO they have *slightly* more style, are far more water-resistant and keep your tootsies warm as toast. 'Come, and trip it as ye go On the light fantastic toe.' maninpumps Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I would not recommend Uggs to a barefooted Eskimo. They are just to Uggly in my opinion.
chris100575 Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Having originally professed to loathe them with a vengence I have since decided that the genuine ones aren't too bad, although I still think they look like you've gone out in your slippers. However I see a lot of girls wearing the cheap knock-offs where they're walking off the side of the heel and they look awful!
at9 Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 There are worse boots than Uggs. I may get an instant ban for even mentioning those monstrosities that I think are called "cardie boots". http://www.amazon.co.uk/WOMENS-BLACK-KNITTED-CARDI-LADIES/dp/B001N2ZMOI Goes off to find some soap to wash out his mouth.

Oh yes, I've seen a couple of pairs of those around. The first time I saw them, I thought the wearer was walking on her hands. They haven't got my size on Amazon, though. Shucks. Genuine UGGS tend to get a bad name from the cheap knock offs where the soles collapse and the girls end up dragging their feet around - makes me want to tell them to pick their feet and walk properly!! They also seem to fall apart and look scruffy in no time. Doubt it happens with the real ones as they are properly built. With the right jeans and good legs, you can get away with UGGS in a social environment Gingers Rogers did everything Fred Astair did .. but backwards and in heels

Marion Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 To my eyes, Uggs are just like Crocs and Birkenstock : ugly shoes that I would never wear. But I think everyone is free to wear what they want even if it turns to an Uggly look... My shoe collection album
Tony Citara Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 When I see a female wearing Uggs, it reminds me of the "page" on facebook called Wearing Uggs And Shorts Makes You Look Like A Weather Confused Slut. LOL!!!
