I posted a polite reply in the girls only forum today by mistake, it was a genuine error and would like to apologise. I have the greatest respect for the girls only forum and thought it was going in the" For Everybody" forum. Regards Saxone

You apology should have been directed to the moderators rather than the forum in general. However, it might be worth pointing out that you could have deleted the post quite easily and no one (except for us on Mod Mountain) would have been any the wiser...

I considered my apology should have been directed so every member could read it as I did make a genuine mistake and wanted to apologise to everyone. I have noticed that 2 other male members have also added comments to the same thread in the girls only forum including you Dr. Shoe but I seem to be the only one that has put his hands up and said sorry. I do respect very much the lady members on here and the girls only forum is for females only to post a thread and any replies should only come from females. In the future I will ensure the same mistake does not happen again and would encourage other male members to NOT post in the girls only forum. Well I think thats enough said on the matter now as its the start of a new year so lets all work together to make the High Heel Place the place to visit for all high heel fans. Happy New Year Saxone

Indeed but I have made a private apology to my fellow mods. This is all that was required. Moreover the others have done the same.

Yes it is a trifle embarrassing! :cry1:

Hmmm, if that is all that is needed are you going to reinstate the last new guy that you mods banned for making the same mistake? I think he made his mistake on his second or third posting after he joined the forum.

Saxone:-) I don't even read the girls thread, not because I don't want to know what is going on, but for the fact that it helps me to prevent mistakes when scrolling through the Forum and posting in the wrong spot. By totally ignoring the girls thread helps me to not have any fopas in my posting as I catch many mistakes before I hit the enter button. And even then, some mistakes slip by even after proofreading a post several times before sending it. Please girls, I don't mean to affend you in any way by this action, quite the opposite. I hold each and eveyone of you in the highest esteem and know that if there is any information that you want us guys to know that you will post in the for the guys thread or the for everbody thread elsewhere. I know that you gals will be open-minded to see what I'm doing is to keep the rules of the site so that you can have your very own thread for yourselves. Cheers--- Dawn HH

The problem is when you use the new posts feature. If your not careful, it is easy to not see which folder it was posted in (I know it is on the right side, but it is easy to get carried away just reading the topics). The lesson is to either not use the new posts feature or double check the right side before reading.

To the best of my knowledge we have not permanently banned anybody for posting in the girls' forum. Each posting in the girls' forum earns the poster one infraction point which expires in ten days. If any member acquires three un-expired infraction points, s/he is placed on a temporary ban for ten days (notice -- during which time the infraction points will expire). If a member acquires five un-expired infraction points (that means five postings by a guy in the girls' forum within a ten-day period) he will be permanently banned.

What all this means is: You gotta really try (and I mean hard!!!) to get yourself banned by posting in the girls' forum! And if you do reach that point you have demonstrated yourself to be practically incorrigible so you deserve a ban.

We consider other infractions to be of a more serious nature. Spam us and you're outta here -- now! (Ya wanna go back to the spam wave?) Post porno stuff and you're outta here post-haste. (Got a problem with that?)

So, no -- we do not plan on re-instating anybody who has earned a ban on this site. If you have somebody in particular in mind I invite you to bring him/her to our attention via PM.

Have a happy time!

That's exactly my way. I read this board folder by folder. Thus I can stay informed about the girls opinions while staying "safe".

I can only remember one time I had to ban somebody instantly for posting in the girls forum, and that was because upon receiving his PM that he had received an infraction, he decided it would be a good idea to send me a PM with a big "F*** YOU in it, thus was banned on the spot. So, what you guys see is not always what has happened.

Agreed! Very good of you to do so! Thank you.
