Christmas Eve Heeling

Hi Everyone, I decided that it was time to do some heeling in public and last night was it. I figured that there would be enough of a crowd in the Atlantic City casinos to give it a shot. After getting back to my room fairly late, I thought that this is my chance.so I decided to go do a little gambling before turning in. I decided to wear my black Payless Oxford Booties that I purchased in the fall. They've got a 4" heel and are really quite comfortable. I paired them up with a pair of blue jeans and a long sleeved polo shirt. Both of them I had been wearing earlier in the day. Out the door I went leaving the safety of my room and down the hall I went toward the elevator when 2 kids popped around the corner and just about knocked me over. What a way to start my adventure. But on I went and called an elevator. I waited for a short time and then the ding indicating that my lift had arrived. As the door opened, I met a woman who was also heading down to do some gambling. Not much was said other than Merry Christmas and we proceeded down to the casino level. The was no indication from her that she even saw my heels. When I exited the elevator, I was greeted with a shiny tile floor which made my footsteps quite obvious. I had a momentary thought of turning around and going back up to my room but decided to push on. I'm so glad I did. After clicking across the tile (what a rush hearing my heels click across the floor), and passing at least a dozen or two people, on I went into the casino area. The next two hours were just a great feeling! I didn't hear one comment from anyone. I WAS cautious as to where I walked. I tried to avoid any of the larger open spaces, but there were times where I had to pass large crowds of people and not a word was said by anyone. I probably walked around a third of the casino moving from machine to machine. Sometimes I was sitting right next to someone, and again, not a word from anyone. There were times that I even forgot that I had my heels on. After two hours I decided that I had lost enough of my money and needed to call it a night. The walk back to the room was again uneventful. I probably passed almost a hundred people, including several security guards and a group of around 10 casino employees. Not one person commented. Sorry, I didn't take any pics. I was just too tired by the time I returned and had to hit the sack. I think I will give it another try tonight. Hopefully I'll get some pics this time. Merry Christmas everyone! HHLover

HH Lover:-) What an experience on your first public heeling. Congrats. No one noticed because they were too interested in working their machines. Winning some money would have made it more enjoyable, but you probably would have spent it on new shoes and boots anyway. Cheers--- Dawn HH

It's great to hear that you enjoyed being in your heels in public! I hope you really enjoyed your evening out. Good thing you didn't gamble too much, too. Hehe! I think one of the keys to public heeling in a relaxed way is to forget that you are wearing them. The more you're trying to hide it, the more attention it will attract. :cry1: Wear your heels with pride and joy!

This adventure perfectly describes everyday life... People are just too wrapped up in their own lives to worry about what your doing, and if they dont notice you in a casino of all places, where they are on "recreation time" then you will get the same reaction elsewhere like shopping malls...

Good luck with your gambling, hope you grab some winnings :cry1:

What a great outing and successful outing. I too love the sound of my stiletto high heels clicking on the tile floor or on the concrete. I know what you mean when you get so caught up in the moment that you forget that you are wearing high heels. Sorry you didn't have better luck in the casino, but your night in high heels in public had to be a plus for you.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Episode #2 went almost as well as last night's. Again, I decided to wear blue jeans with my Payless Booties because the black jeans I had on earlier just didn't look right with my heels. I got on the elevator and headed downstairs. I had a bit of a shock when the elevator said it was stopping before going down to my floor. A young man entered the elevator and pretended to be reading some paper he had but I caught him staring at my heels. Neither of us spoke a word. I got off of the elevator on the floor before he wanted so I had to exit right in front of him, clicking my way out of the elevator. I spent a good 2 and a half hours down in the casino. Unfortunately, my gambling results were the same as last night's. One thing different that I did was to get off the elevator at the second floor rather than on the 1st floor where the casino is located. The difference is that when you get off the elevator it is a LOT more quiet and the clicking of my heels were even more pronounced. I passed the two security guards, who check for ID when you are going to your room, without any fuss. They had to hear the distinct sound of high heels going past them, but didn't look or say a thing. The long walk is the next big difference. There are two long carpeted hallways that I needed to walk down. I might have passed 4 people along the way. None of them paid any attention to me. The two hallways have to be almost 1000 feet combined. Thank God they are carpeted. The trip down the escalator in heels was a first for me. After wandering around for about 5 minutes looking for the poker machine that I had been playing earlier, I finally found it and sat down. That's where I spent the next 2 hours playing video poker and drinking soda (I had enough alcohol and just drank Coke). Again, there were several times that I had forgotten that I was even wearing heels. I even caught myself rocking my feet on the heels a few times. The only negative reaction happened as I was leaving the casino floor to take the escalator back up to the second floor. As I left the casino floor, I had to go up 3 or 4 stairs and a small group of people (2 guys and a girl) who were standing nearby started to chuckle. It was obvious they had seen my heels. The two guys even jumped on the escalator and followed me up to the second floor (I wasn't worried at all, I could have easily taken them both). Once we got there they made a lame effort to make it appear that they were going to opposite way from me. I soon realized why when I saw the flash of a cell phone camera behind me. I just grinned a bit and thought to myself that maybe I should have told them that if they wanted a picture they just should have asked, but I continued on and figured I'd save that for another outing. The rest of the walk back was quite uneventful. One maintenance man dad say "Good morning sir" and then proceeded to check out my heels as he passed by. He even turned around as he passed me to get a better look (but quickly turned back to the front and continued on his way). Again I passed the security guard, showing my ID to access the guest rooms. Nothing was said. No looks and no other events as I went to my room I did take some pics this time and I will post some of them after I get back home. I've been doing my posts from my Blackberry and it's been a real killer on my thumbs. HHLover

HHLover, you will find that most people do notice but just go about their business. But once in a while you will find a complete idiot that is annoying in one manner or another. It just fits the general picture of people; every so often you find that one idiot! Keep on heeling!!!!

It's all about the heel!

Yeah Bootking, I agree. I think that they were probably drunk. Ignorance and booze is never a good combination.

I have to say that despite that little incident, I really enjoyed myself. The chances of me running into someone I knew were remote at best, so I felt like I had the freedom to enjoy my heeling time. I wish it could have lasted longer. I basically confined my heeling to the casino where I was staying. I think the next time I might try walking to one of the adjoining ones. I really liked the long walk from the room to the casino area. I'd like to do more of that.

As I said, I'll post some pics when I get home and show everyone how they looked.

HHLOVER, It was great to hear about your heeling experiences. You can rest assured your nights out at the casino were recorded by the security cameras. So you're now part of the heelers of record, at least for the time of security rotation. Our lives can never be consider anonymously private in public mediums any more, which is still a bit scary. The more heelers are seen, the sooner heeling will find its place on the male persona. KEEP ON HEELING!

HHLover:-) Once you try to go outside from one casino to another, you will begin to wear your heels out in pubic anywhere and at all times and places. Don't let a couple of drunks deter you from having all of the fun of public heeling. Keep on heeling. Cheers--- Dawn HH

I have a pair just like those that I bought from Payless. They are sooooooo comfortable. And I understand what you mean when you said you forgot you were wearing high heels. It has to be the beautiful shoe. Everytime I wear them, I get lots of looks and even comments about them. Nice pics. Thanks for sharing.

Most likely, security is looking for professional gamblers, card counters, and folks like that, so though they might have noticed you, I'll be they paid little attention.

keep an eye out on all the street heeling blogs and groups, you might find yourself there, your average guys would not have bothered taking a picture of your heels for no reason!

HHLover: Impressive, most impressive! Congrats to you on your outings in Atlantic City. As others here have already said, ninety-nine percent of people you encounter in your travels are way too wrapped up in their own lives and affairs to worry, or care about a guy wearing women's shoes, especially in a casino as people are devoting all their time and concentration to making that big killing on the slot machine they're working. Hell, Godzilla could stomp by on the boardwalk right outside and no one would notice, so it's no wonder people paid you next to no attention. In any event, good for you, my friend!

I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!

HHlover,

Congrats! It seems like you had a great time in Atlantic City.

I myself often go to Atlantic City, and I usually wear heels. Nevr had a problem in the least. Have walked from the parking garage, into and around the casino. Then a stroll along the boardwalk, and usually a stop or 2 in another casino.

It might be nice if we could have a mini heel meet sometimg in Atlantic City. I know we have a few members in the area.

HHlover, If you would like company sometime, let me know. I would enjoy heeling in AC with an HH friend. My girlfriend likes to go also, even though she is not able to wear heels for long.

I'll definitely keep that (and you) in mind!

It would be far more enjoyable with company!

Hi Everyone, Since I had such a good time heeling in Atlantic City, I decided that tonight I would take a little trip to do some shopping. I didn't really have a lot of time to shop since I had to drive about an hour to the shopping area (a group of malls and stores outside of Wilkes-Barre). I was specifically looking for *wait for it* another pair of heels, preferably some boots. Surprise, surprise. So I left the house fully ready to try on some heels if the opportunity presented itself. I decided to wear a pair of jeans, a long sleeve polo shirt, a navy blue fleece pullover and my ever faithful Oxford Booties over a pair of black thigh-high stockings. Anyway, I had stopped earlier in the evening to pick up a few lottery tickets (quite uneventful) and then after driving another half hour, ran (ok, walked) into Payless. I had every intention of trying something on in the store if I found something interesting. Unfortunately, nothing really interested me (and the size 12 selection was DREADFUL - I know this has been discussed in another thread). I even thought of trying something on just for the experience of doing it in the store, but figured why bother since nothing really appealed to me. The only thing they had that was really nice was two pairs of Hilt pumps in black patent. I already have a pair and saw no reason to try them on. The two girls working in the store seemed to be either high school age or early college. Neither seemed to bat an eyelash, even though I had to walk directly toward one of them (who was sitting on one of the stools that the customers usually use) as I came in the door. Unfortunately, neither offered to come over and offer any assistance either. I guess they figured since I was the only customer in the store, I'd ask for help of I needed it. I was actually disappointed that they ignored me. Upon leaving, one of then simply replied, "Good bye. Have a nice night." Again, no indication they they even noticed my heels (but they should have, I bought them from Payless).:cry1: So, I've really been bitten with the heeling bug now. I totally enjoy it. Unfortunately, as I've stated before in other posts, my ex-wife-to-be really frowns upon my heels and I have to do all of it when she isn't around (and far enough away from home). After all, this part of eastern PA is the macho center of the state and they frown on anything that is outside of the steereotypical norms. Also, my profession is not very tolerant of anything outside of the norms either, hence, my having to drive so far to go heeling. Oh, well, at least I get to do it a few times a month (at least I hope). Thanks for all of the comments everyone!!! HHLover

HHlover, your post is a perfect description of the way a lot of us feel. To a large degree I compare it with being gay - while it would be very nice to be 'out', and not have to hide anything, the reality is that it does change things. While it can be liberating, there's also risks with it, both in professional and personal relationships.

Actually I'll rephrase that. Being gay is a full lifestyle choice, that can be tough to keep secret potentially forever. Maybe bi would be a better choice. It's something that you can more easily hide, and everyone in your life doesn't need to know. And there are definitely localized areas where people are more cosmopolitan, and accept almost anything, vs areas which are much more conservative. I think the 'smartness' in heeling is knowing what you can do where.

In terms of Payless (and yes, their large size selection does s*ck this year), one could give those salegirls the benefit of the doubt, and say that they sort of know (by body action) when a customer needs help, and when they seem to be managing on their own.

Hi HHlover Awesome story. Thanks for sharing it. Casino's are great places to hang out with heels. I have been in Vegas wearing heels all day. No problem. The evening before Halloween I even did a short stint in a skirt. Your Oxford's are great. Are they fairly comfortable ? I would recommend buying some women's jeans. You will find that the cut falls much better over a HH shoe, in particular if you buy bootcut jeans.
