Where do you store your heels?

well a little different with us we keep the box that the shoes came in, when we finishes wearing them, they get cleaned and back in their respective boxes as wife and self wear the same size, if people see all the shoe boxes, no issue, despite that they are kept in our bedroom, and hardly anyone come in here!!! need to add, that as the house is an ongoing project, the cupboards still dont have doors, so if someone does come into the room, and see all the shoe boxes, nothing is out of place, as woman normally have plenty shoes in any case!!:silly::winkiss:

I store my heels in a big bag.

I wish I was brave enough to store my heels together with all other footwear I have.

My wifes heels are everywhere and I like it that way, they make me go "hmmmmm"..:-)

I tend to agree with FXHH. For a variety of reasons, the footwear should be stored neatly and in order, preferably after cleaning and/or polishing when worn. Believe it or not, it does affect the life of the shoes and I think yer going to find that footwear is starting to get much more expen$ive these days. :winkiss:

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "big bag", but if yer talking about a large plastic garbage bag, do yourself a favor and take the shoes out. For one thing, shoes need to breathe, and that simply isn't going to happen with a big plastic bag. Believe it or not, you would be far better off storing the shoes in their original boxes. I do have one pair of knee-high boots that I store in their original box, which is in turn stored in a suit-case. I admit that this is not the ideal way, but better than the large plastic bag.

Keep on stepping,

I to keep my shoes in their box they come in as space permits . When they get older or I loose intrest in that pair they then get moved to a storage trunk and more new shoes get stacked on top of that. Here is something to keep in mind shoe boxes do tend to be a little weak in the sides so rotate the boxes on a regular basis or stiffen them with more corrigated cardboard this works well for me..........I sometimes leave a pair or two out. One of wifes freinds saw a pair of my heels in the living room one time , she picked it up and said "you wear a size 12?" my wife stated I wear an eight they are my husbands heels and she said well he has good taste and let it go at that with a slight chuckle and a wink at me!!! On a side note she has wanted to see me wear them ever since .

I have been Banned for emailing abuse to tech when he tried to help me.

Most of my heels are in a dedicated hall closet that is not accessible (without a key). Most of the boots are hanging from padded skirt hangers and most of the shoes are in a cubby (organizer).

My wife's heels are very nicely stored. We had California Closets come in and redo the closets. All of her boots are standing up on shelves with boot shapers in them. All of her heels are nicely on shelves.

It's all about the heel!

My high heeled New Rocks are all stored under the bed in their original boxes. My favourite pairs are in the wardrobe for ease of access. Quite a few pairs are in a hold all under the bed, which isn't ideal but does keep them tidy, and there's usually a couple just out on the bedroom floor which are the ones I'm currently favouring.

I have to hide my heels away from my parents who I live with, so they are all over the place in my room. I hide some in my beds under compartment some in an old DVD recorder box and some under the bottom draw of a chest of drawers and also some in a ottoman, yes I have loads of high heeled shoes and boots that I would love to wear all the time if I could.

My heels are stored in our room, in my cupboard, in transparent boxes, we buy from a container store. I want to see what is inside. It keeps things tidy, and easy to find what you looking for.

I kept one pair of heels in a cupboard under the stairs, they were the same style as a pair she had and every time she went to put her boots on she had to look at the size to see if they were hers, after a while I moved them to were I keep my other shoes etc, in the garage. The other day I decided to look out a pair of heels I bought about twenty years ago, they were still there where I left them, a pair of mary jane style with two ankle straps, tried them on still fitted great, buckles were a bit iffy, where they join the shoe, nothing I cannot fix, bought back memorys, they will get an outing in the near future, only problem is if anybody asked where did you get those shoes, what do you say 1990. I still have a couple of pairs of wedge sandals I bought in 1972 and they still fit great. I could continue, enough for now.

life is not a rehearsal

With so many different hiding places, it's a wonder that your mother hasn't already found a pair or two.

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

I tend to keep them in discreet locations. I used to hide them when I was at home, then for a time I hid them in places that although you wouldn't see them obviously if you looked in the right spot they were pretty obvious. For example under my desk, its a small room and so you can't really walk for enough in to get the right angle to see under while standing. Now my parents know about it, they just go out of obvious sight but hardly hidden. While I'm at uni they simply go at the bottom of a big cupboard, its a pretty natural place for putting shoes but no one knows unless they open the door.

In the bottom of my wardrobe, my bit of the shoe cupboard (top) inside the front door, satchel I use for work (the current fav) and a pair under my car seat (backup sling backs incase I have none and feel desparate or my shoulder is giving me hell). Just got to be prepared! and I'm sure someone (teenies) will find them soon as they managed to find the porn and toys hidy hole but thats a different story. Al

Mine are all in their original boxes, neatly stacked on the floor in my hall closet.

I keep them all over the place around the house, the ones that I am currently wearing are kept in the bedroom and spare room and the rest that are out of favour are in the loft all in boxes but not all original boxes, as not all came in boxes in the first place....I do check on them from time to time to make sure that they are storing ok.:winkiss:
